Harry Rednapp

Recommended Posts

I'd take Redknapp to be fair, but he would never come to us.

And seeing as we are well down the track with Pearson we need to stand with him and give him and his team the chance to show us all they can so the business.

But remember, our owners probably wont have as much patience with him as a lot of us would.

This is almost definitely spot on, and a bit concerning, because we now have a team that is full of pearson players.

Get rid and we`re back to square one, with a new manager wanting his own players in, more wasted money, probably a different style of play, for the players to get used too, and so another season goes to waste, and the merry go round goes on.

If the owners weren't happy with NP they could of sacked him at the end of last season they didn't so this gives me reason to believe they are "likely" to give him a chance to get promotion this season or next?, but knowing the Thais they will probably sack him and could go down 3 potential routes appoint a young hungry manager i.e Di Canio, Karl Robinson type, a glamour manager that hasn't managed at this level: Rafa type or a championship manager i.e Mick McCarthy but this is all hypothetical and shouldn't happen unless we keep on loosing and not getting the right results.

Redknapp is no good as his teams concede goals. We need Megson or maybe even Steve Kean.

Steve kean is a great shout tactically out thought Pearson today, got his team playing dog shit to lull us into a false sense of security, and bribed the officials just to be sure the man is a genius.

I've had my reservations about Pearson but where's the sense in changing a manager who's so close to getting it right and providing us with the best team we've had for years.

All that really went wrong today was that, while Blackburn scored twice from three chances, we scored once, missed once from three yards, had an excellent goal seemingly harshly disallowed and failed to shoot with sufficient speed and conviction to make the most of our chances - or saw our shots blocked.

Territorially, apart from the spell when we changed the team and conceded the winner, we were just as dominant as against Charlton.

Did Nugent miss a sitter or did Robinson make a breathtaking save? Whatever he did just the same as Vardy and directed his header straight at the goalkeeper - a header which would surely have been the passport to reneved confidence and likely victory.

But we didn't take our chance while Blackburn did and you coulnd't help but wonder at the time if we were fated to suffer the same outcome for the same outstanding effort.

Well, just like when MON lost all those games at the beginning of his career at Leicester, these things change and there is every reason to expect that because fans today had confirmation that our team really is capable of playing consistently to a high standard.

It is all about confidence and belief now, not changing the manager and personnel again.

Again, there's some fine tuning to be done. But the basis is there now and the one vital ingredient missing is ruthlessness .

Great post!!

Whether people like that or not, I do believe that is true. After all they got rid of Sven when he was in a better position.

Hahaha oh my word, giving money to Harry Redknapp is like giving a kid £20 for sweets and saying now only buy a few things with that and save some, kid comes back red faced with no money and more sweets than he knows what to do with! Anyone who employs him is confining themselves to financial meltdown! Oh FT can get silly at times!

Spot on. I cannot believe some of the crap on here, the performance will do for me every game of the season, a little bit of luck and a little bit of ruthlessness and the job is a good one and the results will come. NP got slated for being so negative and having no width, Nobody had heard of Marshall and Knockeart who have cost little compared with SGE spending policy, let our team gel, Or shall we put in a 3/4 million pound bid for the guy from Hull. This team excites me and we will get it right

If we are going the same way as we are now in 4 weeks time I fully expect to see Pearson sacked.

I'm not saying I'd agree with it, I'm just stated what I believe will happen.

A club who gets Harry, will become pretty damn good. He knows how to inspire and handle players.

Wish you were here Harry!

"When you've been working with top players it's very difficult to work with inferior players," he said.

"I am capable of managing at the very top level so we'll see what comes up."
