Beckford - will he go or will he stay?

Not sad to see Beckford go tbh, I think we might have been waiting a lifetime for him to become the player we all hoped he would be.

However, like others, I am a bit concerned by the options we are left with although I don't see a reason to panic as we can still get someone decent in on loan. Once the window closes there could be some very good players available.

Another big player Pearson couldn't handle or get the best out of, oh well at least the bitching about him will stop on radio phones now! Next scapegoat please step forward!

I did like the guy but hey ho that's football and we will move on. Perhaps we have to ask the question as what's been happening with him at the club! Besides Moyes decided to sack him off... Did you see Everton regret that decision?

Beckford doesnt have an ego problem??

No-one seen his comments on twitter to QPR fans about how small time they are, and that he can play for bigger clubs than QPR.

Okay Jermaine.

9 goals does not justify 40k a week.

Beckford isn't on twitter. Bye then.

Very true.

I think Fourth Official confirmed that a while back.

Let's not forget how close the SSL, Mills and Beckford deals were last season and none of them transpired. What you get with Pearson is that he's not a del boy in the market. If 'bruv' ain't gone tonight then I'm confident he'll still be called upon by NFP

Not gone through going by the Huddersfield paper.

Beckford deal from #lcfc to #htafc hasn't happened tonight

As Libertine said, it's irrelevant really as it's a loan and not a perm deal.

If memory serves, SSL was all but out the door last season.

That was until Mills got himself suspended and Pearson had no choice but to recall him.

Did I hear correctly that you can't loan to teams in the same league now though?

He doesn't have Twitter nor is he on 40K a week.

Do you reckon he'll leave on loan soon anyway if NP can borrow another (better) CB?

I'm going to miss Youngy addressing him as if he's in the studio. 'Gowon Jer-men, yooooove got teh doo bettar than tha'

Doubt it.

I think he's pretty much established himself there now, especially in light of Whitbread's performance on Tuesday that showed he's not ready yet.

So he's not gone then?

FFS!!!! was hoping it would free us up to strengthen in the loan market

Last thing we need is him popping up with 1 goal every 7 games whilst leeching a fortune from us leaving us unable to strengthen elsewhere
