Mark_w Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 I love that Foxes Talk claims it's off and now suddenly 'Stinger is saying it's back on', no one with any inside knowledge said it was off.
Guest shearfox Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 can someone "learn me" on the benefit of loaning beckford to 'uddersfield Don't understand it myself, it's something we seem to do, others get the benefit while we are probably paying most the wages. Not going to be happy if this happens and we get no one else in....
ballso Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 can someone "learn me" on the benefit of loaning beckford to 'uddersfield exactly. i just don't understand it either. loaning a player to a club who will be a rival for us this year, if you look at their signings and overall squad. it doesn't make sense. might be a dj campbell situation all over again.
chili_con_carne Posted 31 August 2012 Author Posted 31 August 2012 Pearson is really pinning his hopes on vardy. We've just got to hope it pays off, and there is always time to get another striker in on loan as the loan window is still open for a bit.
stevelcfc Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Fourth Official â€@FourthOfficial_ Jermaine Beckford to Huddersfield on a loan deal #lcfc #htafc Has confirmed also.
lcfcsnow Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Well done you fucking idiot. Selling Beckford just means Waghorn, Gallagher and Schlupp are closer to the team. He might be on high wages but we'd be better off giving those 3 free transfers than loaning him to a rival, Campbell / Gradel all over again. Not that I'm surprised.
Father Ted Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 I've always backed Beckford... but I just think that at this moment in time Nugent and Vardy work together a lot better and Beckford's form has been worrying. This could perhaps be a deserved opportunity for Schlupp to step up to the plate or (unfortunately) Waghorn.....
Guest Bilo Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Agreed. Ridiculous decision. Anybody who rates Gallagher and Waghorn above Beckford is nothing short of moronic.
whoareyaaa Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Oh well we have always got Waghorn for backup....
lcfcsnow Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 a deserved opportunity for Schlupp to step up to the plate or (unfortunately) Waghorn..... Might as well write the season off then. Least they're easy to manage though, I can sleep easy tonight knowing that.
Mark_w Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Might as well write the season off then. Good, feel free to stop posting for the next year.
Danno Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 fvcking ridiculous Pearson better have someone to replace him in mind, Waghorn and Schlupp are fvcking dogshite
stevelcfc Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 With waghorn as 3rd choice, i hope the thai's are investing in hard hats for us all.
foxesfan1989 Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Jury is out on this decision. Unless Beckford forced it through...Waghorn and Schlupp should have been the ones to loan out. (If it does happen of course...nothing official yet)
kingfox Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Was always going to happen going by some twitter sources today. Loads confirming it now. Vardy, Nugent, Futacs, Schlupp and Waghorn for tomorrow then.
Guest shearfox Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Forest are signing good players and we are just giving them away, fantastic business....
Kitchandro Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 I've defended Pearson over the last few days but this is a mistake.
marko Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Might as well write the season off then. Least they're easy to manage though, I can sleep easy tonight knowing that. lol lol write the season off because we've lost Beckford?! Behave!
smudger63 Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Que club statement tomorrow saying that they had no choice as Beckford wanted to leave!
Father Ted Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Might as well write the season off then. Least they're easy to manage though, I can sleep easy tonight knowing that. I genuinely believe that if Schlupp was used as a back-up '3rd striker' he could give Nugent and Vardy some competition and bag a few goals. He displaced Beckford from the team last season until he got injured at Forest and hasn't really had a chance to prove himself since.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 This will come back to haunt us. The manager's not got a clue.
Jace Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 If Nugent is so much better than Beckford then I wonder why we started this season with Vardy and Beckford up front
