theboxman1986 Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 After reading some comments on here, reading on twitter as well as elswhere and listening to the moan in. Our fans are clearly divided that much is clear, so as the title says do you think he has lost the fans?
marty78 Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 Not me, his football has taken a turn for the better in terms of style and with some much needed polishing at both ends and an addition or two to the team he can take us up in the next couple of seasons. The big question is whether or not the owners will accept anything less than promotion this season rather than what some random fans think.
StanSP Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 Lost the fans? I don't think we've reached Coventry's status of having no fans in the stadium.
Grey Fox Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 I don't think he's lost the silent majority. Some of the more vocal ones who have no long term vision maybe, but that is all for now.
lcfcsnow Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 Well more and more fans are finally starting to see what he's like, thats for sure.
Thracian Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 If he has then they've been missing some of the best football we've played in years, despite the disappointing results. But I don't think the attendance is especially down to Pearson. I work Leicester market and have never known cash to be so short and to be affecting so many people. With the Wolves match being on television I'd imagine a whole lot of people just decided to save their ticket fee especially as Sunday's are more of a family day than Saturday's especially now that a family can have Sunday lunch for the price of a football ticket.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 Not sure I can be arsed anymore if we change manager again. I can only get to a couple of games a season due to living in Broughton Astley but I've been talking to Sven today and he says we playing "good football". He also added "cut out the defensive errors and Ulrika"
AKCJ Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 Not me. We're playing quality football and it's only a matter of time until we click into gear

Christ Almighty..did you not watch yesterdays first 60 minutes? Pearson continues to get my support but if you consider 3 losses out of 5 the best football we've played in years, we are in for a long season. Football is a points business... I think we are going in the right direction but cannot rise to your level of optimism just yet.
shen Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 I'm losing the will to visit forestalk. Have never felt this as strongly either. It's exasperating these days...
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 It's basically a mix of the people who hated him in 08-10 and would do so regardless of our league position, and the people who have failed to learn from our revolving door policy of the last decade.
theboxman1986 Posted 17 September 2012 Author Posted 17 September 2012 I voted yes although I am not one of the people that do want him gone. It just seems to me that a lot of people are getting fed up with Pearson and his ways, while I am critical about some of his choices I will still support him as long as he is leicester city manager.
AyewJoking Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 Ludicrous really after just 5 league games. Give him time although if we dont win the next match.......PEARSON OUT!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 For everyone, one way or the other, stick by your beliefs, as I have said before, but my view is that as long as our club has Pearson at the helm, then we will end up on the rocks.
Mack Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 It's not just 5 league games, he took over almost a year ago now, and the inconsistent nature of the side has not changed since day one. I would say that the majority of fans are behind him, but with every poor result slowly the fans are jumping sides of the fence. Anyway what really matters is the owners. Will they stomach this for much longer? No chance.
ADK Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 I don't think Pearson will have lost anyones support for the performances of the last 5 games. Was there a minority who didn't like him before? - Yes and they are still moaning and will do until we hit the top of the league or win promotion. Pearson is our most successful manager since Mickey Adams and arguably more successful than Adams. To want him out in favour of an unknown would be very poor decision making.
z-layrex Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 I will always back our manager, no matter how shit I think many of our current players are. I'm of the opinion he is doing all he can.
Deucalion Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 I'm a pretty strong Pearson supporter but I'm beginning to have doubts. None of my concerns are particularly original but I am starting to wonder why we keep feeding crosses into players who like the ball to their feet. If we provided the number of chances to the same players in a way which suited them, then imagine how many we would've scored. Also, yesterday we did get overrun in midfield in the first half, mainly because we couldn't pass to save our lives and were never going to win a game of head tennis with Wolves. Maybe we shouldn't be playing 4-4-2 away from home, it certainly hasn't resulting in many points. I was chuffed to bits when he came back but I don't know how long my patience will last. Good job I don't own the club I suppose. But...if we beat Burnley, then I suppose I shall feel a whole lot better!

How can Pearson be more succesful than Adams?
paulsherwood1 Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 Ludicrous really after just 5 league games. Give him time although if we dont win the next match.......PEARSON OUT! It's not just after 5 league games though is it? He's been here nearly a year, and we are still making the same mistakes as when Sven was here! The football may be nicer, but the points are less! I don't buy all this gubbins about 'needing time'. Well the Crawley manager seems to have turned forest from bankrupt relegation fodder into an unbeaten team who are apparently playing great football.... But Pearson needs time..... To do what? Sell all the centre halves over the summer and don't replace them? Leaving only 2 fit centre backs for the start of a season? To fall out with anyone 'not in his gang' To continue to give the fans the brush off with poor interviews with 'attitude' after every game... Hmmmmmm.
