MPH Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 I was just wondering who everyone would prefer to Partner Nugent up front on tuesday nights against Brighton? Nuge's place seems safe... and I know Vardy was probably not match fit.... But did Waghorn do enough for you? Did we miss Vardy? Recall Beckford or Hopper? What about Futacs or Harry Panayiotou? Loan signing. maybe? Seems like we do have quite a few options to be fair...
marty78 Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 Vardy. Unless there is a very good striker available I don't the see the need for a loan and Vardy has done well enough to warrant his place in the games I've seen. Hope he is fully fit which, after coming on today, I would expect him to be.
Buggsteam Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 Think we missed Vardys energy today and link up play with Nugent. I don't dislike Waghorn but he didn't do alot today.
Mark_w Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 how come you've not voted for Waghorn? Because Vardy is better...
Fox42 Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 I can't believe some fans still want a loaned in striker. Top of the league and have scored in every game this season. We've got plenty of cover.
Jace Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 I can't believe some fans still want a loaned in striker. Top of the league and have scored in every game this season. We've got plenty of cover. Personally I think the last thing we need is another striker the balance is good now
Leicester_Numan Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 Definitely Vardy, the partnership is working so there's no need to mess with it
Mattthefox Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 Jason Roberts? Helped to get Reading up last season
ealingfox Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 It's only because people feel like where we are scoring 1 or 2 in a game, with a consistent finisher we could be handing out real beatings playing like this.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 Vardy. We don't need another striker we've got potential goalscorers all throughout the team
Fox92 Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 Vardy, no question. His hard work is second to none, and their partneship is currently good and always building.
Thracian Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 We took Birmingham apart for much of the first half today but we so missed Vardy's selfless runs which create so much space for others as well as scoring opportunities for himself. Nugent/Waghorn had no chemistry at all.
steveherbe Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 Messi or Ronaldo would be my preference- or that Beckord lad from Huddersfield
lcfcsnow Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 A quality loan and I'm confident we'd pull away given our style of play this season. The other 4 are as much of a muchness as you could get, might as well loan Waghorn, Schlupp and Futacs out to see if they can score at a lower level.
lcfcsnow Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 I wouldn't mind seeing Knockaert play off Nugent for the time being though, proper free roam role.
I blame Wellens Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 I wouldn't mind seeing Knockaert play off Nugent for the time being though, proper free roam role. Good call! Vardy does seem a bit lightweight at times, I like him but just dont know if he is good enough. Top of the league!
foxesfan1989 Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 Vardy certainly. Might be time for Schlupp to be ahead of Waghorn in the pecking order though.
Manwell Pablo Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 Vardy certainly. Might be time for Schlupp to be ahead of Waghorn in the pecking order though. Should be time for me to be ahead of Waghorn in the pecking order!
Jimmy Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 Pearson is the only manager that seems to think Waghorn is a decent striker.
MPH Posted 20 October 2012 Author Posted 20 October 2012 Think waghorn might hand in a transfer request if he sees this! Nearly 100 votes and not a single one for him!
