There I was the other night, watching Marouane Fellaini on the highlights, musing about how hard he'd be to play against.... 6ft 4in of bone and sinew (7ft 2in if you include his hair), aggression, movement, power in the air, passes wide, touches short, 25m drives into the corner of the net, elbows into the face.

How do you deal with an opponent with such an unusual range of skills (for his new attacking midfield position, at least). Unless you've got Patrick Vieira playing defensive midfield or are playing 3 centre backs, it must be well nigh impossible, surely?

Anyway, it occurred to me that he'd be the Premier League player I'd most like to see trotting out in a (Leicester) blue shirt every Saturday.

So, who would you like to see in that shirt?

I'm not talking about who'd be worth the most, who'd fit into the team best, who'd get us promoted, who'd score the most goals.... just who you'd most love to see in blue, week in and week out...

Agree with you entirely there. Obviously VP or Aguero would be unreal to have at the club, but I've loved Fellaini for years now. He's got skill, strength and an incredible barnet and he's Belgian so that about makes the decision for me.

Bale. He's the most exciting player to watch on that list, on his day anyway. You've got to love players like that, who'll just pick up the ball, run at players with confidence and turn up the crowd volume. In 20 years Spurs fans will talk about the thrill of watching Bale week in week out in their youth.

You always here older Leicester fans saying the most exciting player they ever watched was Keith Weller, and from the clips Ive seen of him I imagine Bale to be a left footed modern version of him.

Out of all the players you add Hoolahan?

Yaya Toure, Kompany or Tevez for me.

Apologies, Yaya Toure should have occurred to me, but these polls only allow you 20 options!

Likewise, I intended to include Kompany, but beer-brain took over. Wouldn't bother with Tevez, though (brilliant World Cup goal for Argentina notwithstanding) as he's obivously a tosser.

I'm biased about Hoolahan, I admit. He's a crafty, cunning little git who makes things happen; Irish ancestry (I presume), a mop of dark hair, handsome as hell....he's my personification on a football pitch. If you don't like it, make up your own poll!

Suarez, RVP, Mata or Aguero.

Tough to choose.

Mark Noble, seriously underrated midfielder and we could do with someone like him at Leicester.

He's a good player, and underrated.....but you'd choose him over all those other great players?

Of course not, I just wanted to say a player who I rate, and think would do an outstanding job for us in a not so glamorous position.

Of all the players, I would take Balotelli for entertainment reasons.

If Pearson was still our manager I imagine it would be entertaining.

David Silva

Knew there was one I'd missed, same here.
