MC Prussian Posted 4 December 2012 Posted 4 December 2012 Barnsley are worse off than Derby at the moment with only 17 points after 20 games played. They have won only once in their last ten games and are stuttering to even get draws, with four straight losses during that 10-game stretch. In their last 13 games, they've never scored more than one goal per match. We're playing at home with an almost impeccable record at the KP Stadium. We have the best goal difference in the league and the best defense, with only 18 goals conceded up to this point. Heart says 3-0, head says it will be much tougher than that. 2-1. I can't see us losing this, but it's the Championship after all.

I'm convinved it upsets the footballing gods who don't like Leicester getting too cocky. Thus I predict Barnsley to win 3-1. Like others I shudder when I remember how bad we were when we played them in January. I think Nige made his mind up on Pelts that day

I think Nige made his mind up on Pelts that day God, Peltier was dogshite that day, beaten every time Vaz Te got the ball. Can see why he signed De Laet.

I think Nige made his mind up on Pelts that day I see where you're coming from and I tend to be on the cautious side myself, but this is a different Leicester City team which has obviously been strengthened in the right areas. Overall playing attitude also seems to have improved a lot. And Barnsley no longer have Vaz Te.
LcFc_Smiv Posted 4 December 2012 Posted 4 December 2012 Coming back from uni to watch this for my 21st, bringing some mates with me (fans of Lincoln, Wrexham, Man Utd and Man City), has to be a convincing win or I'll get stick for a long time. Going to go with 2-1 to us, Barnsley know how Drinkwater controls the game, I think they'll come to bully us off the ball and slow the game down. A long frustrating match in which we'll get a penalty and then a hit and hope screamer from distance, goalscorers still to be decided
