It looks suspiciously like a list of 100 albums that someone just happens to own. The Fall album seems to have been picked pretty much at random from the dozens they've made, and much as I love Super Furry Animals' 'Radiator', I'm struggling to think of anything or anyone that's been influenced by it.

I think I had 34, most of which I bought between the ages of 18 and 25, when you have a tendency to pick up a lot of supposedly 'classic' albums. I've got shitloads of Dylan and Hendrix, and quite a lot of Beatles. Do I ever listen to them? No

Was thinking along these lines. There's a difference between GOOD and INFLUENTIAL. If we're talking influential then where is Spice by the Spice Girls or True Blue by Madonna? Some of them aren't even the most influential albums by that particular band. Piper at the Gates of Dawn by Pink Floyd - I don't think so! Automatic For The People by REM - no. It's basically a list compiled by someone trying way to hard to look cool.

And if you have to try, you ain't.

23, but that list is poo. I don't even care that much for some of the 23 I have. Just happen to have 100's of albums in my collection. I don't think 1 of my own top 100 has made that list.

33, some weird choices on the list though. Some obvious choices as 'influences' ( eg Sex Pistols, Beatles, Stone Roses, Kraftwerk), but where are Black Sabbath? It has AC/DC on the list and no Sabbath? Also a distinct lack of 'Black' artists.

But hey, I suppose these lists are put up to spark debate.

I personally would put on it the entire collection of The Fall albums, but there is no accounting for taste!!!
