Watford- dangerous

Yes! exactly my point.

You're saying we shouldn't be worried about them because they are one of several teams capable of taking second and stretching out a lead on 3rd? I'd say that's something to be worried about.

Palace who go above us if they win tonight?

This is a hard 1 to call, I new watford wasn't gonna beat Bristol last night, but I think palace have got a better chance of beating Huddersfield, I'm going for a draw!!! Which would make it a good week for us

Must say even though they lost last night ( 2 scorers with Leicester connections ex loanee Greg Cunningham & local Leicester lad Paul Anderson)

Watford left their 30 goals strike partnership on the bench. Do not underestimate these . They have a solid squad that i can't see fading away like past seasons

They are one of several teams who can challenge us. they are not unique. If we are better and play better then we get the automatic spot.

Why worry about things you cannot alter?

Great result for us but two things:

Firstly at some point during what is left of this season that will probably be us, probably against Peterborough away we always do shit there. So just remember this result when we fvck up and keep perspective.

I think it's more to do with the run Watford have been on, plus we saw how bad Bristol City were two weeks ago, it's an unexpected and very welcome result in the tussle towards the top.

There will be twists and turns, Watford I doubt will crumble, but it's three points dropped where I expected them to win, so we should be pleased whilst not getting carried away.

seems that we're still above Palace and now with a game in hand.

Let's worry about Hull now. :)

I worry about every team in the top 6... and will do until the end of the season!

Hearing is this week...maybe something will happen today or tomorrow.

Would it apply this season, or next season?

Which would you prefer, get promoted and start off next season on negative points, or take the hit this season and fight for promotion next season?

Wrong. If we had got the results that our played deserved this season we'd be at the top of the table.

The important thing is that if we match or better the results of the teams below us then we'll be fine.

Well if we went up it wouldn't be very helpful to lose points next season.

Depend on how much it was.. -10 this season and we might just still be ok for the play-offs.

Christ almighty.

If you think the only man who makes the call to loan players to Watford is the owner then your massievly wrong. Udinese want these players testing, except for Cassetti who they just want off their wage bill. They are both independant business's, the loaning of these players benefits Watford and Udine, it is no different to any normal loan, except due to the fact the business are owned by the same bloke, Watfords scouts may have been allowed to look at these players behind closed doors or may have shared info with Udinese staff on suitable players.

If you think Anthonio Di Natalie is going to rock up at Vicarage Road to fire them into the Premier League as soon as it becomes apparent that Udinese can't get into Europe, you're again, very wrong. You wont see anyone else arriving I bet. And the players they do have apart from the previous untested Vydra, are not good enough to play for Udinese's first team.

Not in the spirit of the game lol. There is absloutley nothing wrong with it. Just bitter Leicester fans getting worried about not going up, We've done plenty of things in our time that are questionable, for a start off we went into admin and went up without a points deduction, now that really is unfair.

Fuss about nothing this is! Ridiculous. I say again, I didn't see any of you worrying about it when they were mid table!

Just to clear up some of the FACTS you posted. Cassetti isn't on high wages at Udinese and they don't need him off the wage bill, he has never been on it, in fact never played for them. He was realeased by Roma in the summer, no one in Italy showed an interest, Zola contacted him and he agreed to sign for Watford. He's 35 years old,ex-international and played in champions league. The owners thought it was simpler for Udinese sign him on a free and loan him to Watford rather than him sign direct. Why?? Who knows, maybe red tape or tax implications. But he has never spent a day at Udinese.

As for Watford signing Udinese/Granada players this season when those teams have nothing to play for, or Vydra being recalled. Can't happen, See that is the "loophole" that everyone is now moaning about. They are international loans, which means they are treated as transfers. Therefore they can only move in the transfer window. All the loans except the Chelsea kid, Chalobah. Are counted as Watford players for the season, they have even loaned one to Stevenage. So as they are transfers, and Watford players, the 4 from one club doesn't count (at the moment).

One other point, it was posted that Udinese are a mid table team, and Watford loan over age hasbeens. Well they have qualified for the Champions League the last two seasons. And Cassetti aside the players are youngsters bought as kids by the owners to turn over a profit, Vydra cost 3.5 million as a 17 year old, and missed last season with a bad knee injury. They buy kids at big prices, improve and showcase them and sell even bigger, Sanchez to Barca for £35million being the prime example. The Italian rules didnt allow them to own another club and they have bought so many youngsters their squad of pros alone is 72 players, that where Watford and Granada come in. They are the vehicles to showcase the talent and sell them on, the profit then ploughed into more, and so it goes on. Udinese are a small team in Serie A, but made Champions League last year and turned a profit of 26 million. And who knows where the Pozzos priorities will be if Watford go up, the Prem money is far greater than Serie A.

Anyway beats being owned by a crooked businessman, avoiding admin each year and selling our best assets each window (Graham, Sordell etc) every window. Happy Dayz.

Watford will get the second auto place for sure now, and I guess they deserve it.

We have messed up to many times so its time to pay the consequences.

Still think we will be in the play offs, Wembley calling for a big day out.

We've still got 14 games left.

You know they're level with Hull right? By that I mean they have the same amount of points as them. That's not a very big lead is it?

I have to say that is one of the most ridiculous statements I have ever seen on this forum. I'm inclined to believe you aren't actually aware of what's going on in the Championship, how can you possibly think Watford will go up "for sure" when they're joint second?

And as someone has already said there are 14 games left with ample room for them to falter. I know our games in hand aren't easy but it's not as if we can rule ourselves out is it?
