Manwell Pablo Posted 20 March 2013 Posted 20 March 2013 I hope San Marino score first. I don't, once we get three goals clear I'm turning off. Get some Gears Of War going. Something actually worthwhile doing. Fking San Marino. I'm all for their right to participate as a recognised country etc etc but surely we should introduce some sort of Pre Group stage for countries ranked so lowly in the FIFA standings. Fair play to them for being organised enough occasionally only lose by 5 goals or less but it is awwfffuuullllll to watch.
Uncle Albert Posted 20 March 2013 Author Posted 20 March 2013 When's this Nike kit being unveiled that loads of doughnuts on here were posting about?
ScouseFox Posted 20 March 2013 Posted 20 March 2013 Sky have seemingly been making an issue out of the fact we haven't got any centre backs, as if they expect San Marino to actually cross the half way line. I could play at centre back, let alone Michael Carrick.

Guest shearfox Posted 20 March 2013 Posted 20 March 2013 ^^^^^ If San Marino win, or even just score.. If there is any game in world football you can be confident about it is this one. Basically I find it ridiculous for both teams to have to play this fixture, teams like San Marino should have qualifiers for this stage, which will bring down the amount of fixtures played and useless games. It's more unfair in San Marino, how do they expect to progress by getting hammered every game.
Webbo Posted 20 March 2013 Posted 20 March 2013 ^^^^^ If San Marino win, or even just score.. Wouldn't be the first time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGdQvqbIexk
HEGGSY Posted 20 March 2013 Posted 20 March 2013 Yup 1-0 after 9 seconds We won 7-1 but they still scored
Pride_Of_The_Midlands Posted 20 March 2013 Posted 20 March 2013 When's this Nike kit being unveiled that loads of doughnuts on here were posting about? New England away shirt?
Jaspa Posted 21 March 2013 Posted 21 March 2013 Looks like a standard Golf T-shirt with a badge thrown on F knows, poor quality pic tbf
Uncle Albert Posted 21 March 2013 Author Posted 21 March 2013 Another England manager telling us though he will pick the inform players to be in the squads.. Ashley Young has been so good for Man United this season and so has Oxlade-Chamberlain recently.
Soar Fox Posted 21 March 2013 Posted 21 March 2013 Just watching England V Holland (euro 96) on ESPN classics. The players that were in the starting 11 back then compared to the rubbish we have these days is frightening.
David Guiza Posted 21 March 2013 Posted 21 March 2013 Was talking to a mate about the '96 kind of era I while back. The difference in qualities of strikers between then and now is massive, Shearer, Sherringham, Wright, Ferdinand, Collymore etc. To Rooney, Defoe, Welbeck.. not even close.

purpleronnie Posted 21 March 2013 Posted 21 March 2013 Cole and Fowler too, it's a frightening thought. And we still couldn't reach a final....some things don't change.
Guest shearfox Posted 21 March 2013 Posted 21 March 2013 And we still couldn't reach a final....some things don't change. True but we did outplay Germany that night, best team since 66 for sure... didn't go out with a whimper like usual...
Leicesterpool Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 I've noticed over the years when England play away at the weaker nations we seem to make a meal of it! Sadly I think it's going to be one of those nights, 0-0 draw press will be on Hodgson's back Saturday morning! A side like San Marino you need score at least six to make it look good. Question for all, what is your opinions on Hodgson so far?
Bugg Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 0-0 draw? Hahahahahaha! We're playing ****ing San Marino, no way will we draw with that pile of shit.
Bert Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 0-0 draw? Accrington Stanley would beat these. 4-0 England.

Leicesterpool Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 I'd have a bet if your so sure. 33/1 126/1 on Paddy Power!
Manwell Pablo Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 126/1 on Paddy Power! There you go, get on it, hopefully it'll teach you a lesson
goose2010 Posted 22 March 2013 Posted 22 March 2013 4-0 / 5-0 we wont destroy them its just not a English thing to do, Rooney gets in the mood and it might be 6-0. Pretty sure we could get a team together and give these lot a game! team news England XI v San Marino: Hart, Walker, Smalling, Lescott, Baines, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lampard, Cleverley, Young, Rooney, Defoe.
