lol

I hope San Marino score first.

I don't, once we get three goals clear I'm turning off. Get some Gears Of War going. Something actually worthwhile doing.

Fking San Marino. I'm all for their right to participate as a recognised country etc etc but surely we should introduce some sort of Pre Group stage for countries ranked so lowly in the FIFA standings. Fair play to them for being organised enough occasionally only lose by 5 goals or less but it is awwfffuuullllll to watch.

Sky have seemingly been making an issue out of the fact we haven't got any centre backs, as if they expect San Marino to actually cross the half way line. I could play at centre back, let alone Michael Carrick.

We could play without a keeper and we will win this one.

If San Marino win, or even just score..lol

If there is any game in world football you can be confident about it is this one. Basically I find it ridiculous for both teams to have to play this fixture, teams like San Marino should have qualifiers for this stage, which will bring down the amount of fixtures played and useless games. It's more unfair in San Marino, how do they expect to progress by getting hammered every game.

Another England manager telling us though he will pick the inform players to be in the squads..

Ashley Young has been so good for Man United this season and so has Oxlade-Chamberlain recently. lol

Just watching England V Holland (euro 96) on ESPN classics.

The players that were in the starting 11 back then compared to the rubbish we have these days is frightening.

Was talking to a mate about the '96 kind of era I while back. The difference in qualities of strikers between then and now is massive, Shearer, Sherringham, Wright, Ferdinand, Collymore etc. To Rooney, Defoe, Welbeck.. not even close.

Cole and Fowler too, it's a frightening thought.

And we still couldn't reach a final....some things don't change.

True but we did outplay Germany that night, best team since 66 for sure... didn't go out with a whimper like usual...

I've noticed over the years when England play away at the weaker nations we seem to make a meal of it! Sadly I think it's going to be one of those nights, 0-0 draw :( press will be on Hodgson's back Saturday morning!

A side like San Marino you need score at least six to make it look good.

Question for all, what is your opinions on Hodgson so far?
