MooseBreath Posted 30 March 2013 Posted 30 March 2013 Bit harsh to lay any blame on the lad but I wonder why Pearson persists with bringing him on when he is yet to show any indication that he will ever make any meaningful positive contribution to a game in such a situation
Johnny Cash Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 "Thought he added something special on the wing today and glad we took Schlupp off and didn't even consider bringing on some tricky little Frenchman." "Kane might score here." "Thank God Harry was tracking back." *Things I didn't say today.....
Kitchandro Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 He just seems to be a bit... I don't know, pointless.
Munshi Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Wasted out on the left, not exactly the lads fault that he doesnt have pace to beat a man on the wing. Theres always someone to blame.
Corky Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 No ones good enough for us according to this forum... This is true. Most players are shit yet we are complaining we're 7th.
ramadaone Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Just telling the truth, I sit in P2 and he was messing with his hair on numerous occasions. Apparently he is good mates with George
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Where's the thread about Nugent? He didn't do much on the wing.
Bert Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Kane has played in his natural position for us once, and scored.
Guest Col city fan Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Literally no idea why we signed him. From what I've seen of him, God knows how he'll ever play for Spurs.
Buzzell Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Honestly haven't seen a lot of Kane, but if a striker is to play in the wrong position, left wing in this case, surely it's going to be difficult for him?
NewburyFox Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Aside from the fact that he's played hideously out of position (why do we persist with him on the wing?), I get the impression that he just doesn't care. He's got nothing to prove, it makes no difference to him where we finish and it shows. He doesn't put his foot in at all, and I'd be tempted to send him back now. I'm sick of seeing him stuck out on the wing, as pointed out above he's started up front once and scored. If we're going to play him it's got to be up top.
dbt_lcfc Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Bert sums it up really, why bring in a striker and play him out wide? Absolute madness.... the one game he played up top with wood I thought he looked quality, shame we havent seen more of him in his natural position
Dan Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Kane will inevitably get unfair stick. If we played that lad centre forward, he would be raved about by our fans. He's being played painfully out of position.
dynamark Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Pearson played him out of position, how he can be on in front of Knocky is scandalous.Should have got the three today thanks Nig .
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 Pearson played him out of position, how he can be on in front of Knocky is scandalous.Should have got the three today thanks Nig . So it's Nigel's fault the players couldn't finish the chances?
dynamark Posted 6 April 2013 Posted 6 April 2013 No its Nigels decision making Kane offers nothing especcially on the wing. How long has it taken to work out that Schlupp may be better than Kane /Wood.Nug 40 games. Knocky must be fuming if kane is considered in front of him when we are one up and looking to hold a lead.
Dickov22 Posted 7 April 2013 Posted 7 April 2013 Play the lad upfront. Tired of seeing us play players out of position. It doesn't work
dannythefox Posted 7 April 2013 Posted 7 April 2013 He's done nothing since coming here but he has played alot out of position. For me I'd prefer to see Waghorn get a chance but I can now see him leaving or being loaned out next season sitting on the bench most games is no fun .
stillwater Posted 7 April 2013 Posted 7 April 2013 I should think most of our squad get a bit pissed of when a 19 year old on loan player that has shown nothing in any games he has played gets on a run out ahead of our so called first teamers. Maybe this is the reason for our slump, must be in his loan clause that he gets time in every game!!
Dan the fox Posted 7 April 2013 Posted 7 April 2013 Kane is gash , thought big jeff played well yesterday but should have swapped with nuge as he looks lost on left !
Legend_in_blue Posted 7 April 2013 Posted 7 April 2013 Pearson must have watched videos back of when Hollowhead was in charge and played Fryatt on the wing. He thinks to himself that'll make a decent plan B, let's go for that. Our players should be fit enough to last the full 90 minutes. This Kane guy has offered nothing of note and yet Pearson goes on and on about only bringing in players who he thinks will make a difference. The way I see it he'll make a difference alright, the difference between being in the playoffs or not. With the latter seeming more obvious with these substitution stunts.
mbmb10 Posted 7 April 2013 Posted 7 April 2013 Harry Kane looked unbelievably lazy yesterday, it seemed that he couldn't care less! He couldn't control the most simplest of balls; then blasted the ball at Danny Drinkwater which ended up in the back of our net as he didn't even track back!
lestajigs Posted 7 April 2013 Posted 7 April 2013 Why after every game this forum, pinpoints a player, another thread that's bollocks, is this forum just full of bitchy girls on here??
