Why do so many fans want Pearson to be the manager next season?

Thanks for wasting my time, utter drivel.

From someone whoes had over 2000 posts? Looks like you got alot of time to waste.

Fully mental,, find an outside interest but nothing to do with writing.

Maybe lose that virginity

Fully mental to have a bit of fun and get behind your manager? Take a leaf out of most 'fans' books and whilst your at it listen to your own head and get that insecurity about your own virginity over and done with.

Well if those he hasn't shipped out are committed to the club, the manager and his style of play why don't they follow his orders?

How difficult is it to train your goalie not to boot the ball to the opposing goalie?

I can understand that players may feel under pressure in a game and go defensive but this has happened for weeks now.

Surely a manager who wasn't getting results due to players not following orders world change things around, I've always believed that Pearson was the type who wouldn't take shit, I'd sooner have a player who didn't want to sit on the bench than one who doesn't follow orders week after week.

That's the point I was making, I think the game they play is dictated by the game itself, rather than a set plan by Pearson.

I'm torn, on one had the reverting to rubbish football having been playing some great stuff early in the season and the lack of being able to turn around the slide from feb onwards, plus the decision to bring in wooden-kane. Really do make me wonder if he has taken us as far as he can.

However his saving grace from the clubs point of view, maybe FFP, I think our owners may just have spunked all they can afford (without promotion) on the club abd sacking a manager and letting another man start from scratch again maybe to much for their pockets at this moment in time, I reckon they are hoping they can claw back as much as possible for Beckford, Danns and who ever else they can move on and maybe let NP have a fraction of that money for key positions such as LB a CB and a midfielder.

I know there will speculation about certain players but we currently have a decent keeper, a decent centre half, the james/king partnership looks to be growing, we have goals in nugent and wood and knocky will get better, with a couple of good and I mean a knocky style signing that comes from nowhere, good signings we could have something close to a side that may even be half decent should we get promotion instead of a side that ends up as cannon fodder.

Hello All

At the risk of getting slated on my first ever post on here, apart from on the introduction thread, I would like to offer my views.

I was as unhappy as many on here when Pearson was first appointed as manager when we went down to league 1, especially as he had a hand in us going down by saving Southampton, I also wasn't that impressed when we went straight back to the Championship because my belief was that anyone could have taken that squad back up, even Holloway, but I did start to change my mind when I saw some of the players that he had signed actually making the grade in the Championship and getting us to the playoffs and the improvement of other players eg Fryatt.

I was gutted when he left and happy when he came back to complete the "unfinished business" although to be fair he wasn't having to complete it as such but start again and In my opinion he is doing a good job and should be given the opportunity to continue, we have moved on in the last 12 months and improved considerably, although I also think that there are things that could have been done better.

One of these would be the Jermaine Beckford issue, again risking a slating, I would actually have loved to have seen him playing in this side when we were playing well but not taking chances, he was not getting opportunities when in the side as we were not playing well which, in turn, affects confidence.

Last point, many people believe that Hull have now gone up because Pearson is no longer there, my opinion is that they have gone up because of the squad that he put together there and would have gone up this year even if he had still been there, Bruce has added a little bit more experience and the squad is also a year older, as ours will be next year.

Can we stop this well he finished in the play offs nonsense.  With the money spent on wages and transfer fees anything less than promotion is a serious failure.  Also we have not significantly reduced the wage bill.  People like Ball have gone with a big, fat pay off and Beckford, Danns etc. are still registered with us.

He has spent more than the majority if not all of the other clubs in this division and so he has failed.  We have played badly for the last third of the season and he did not show he had the skills to arrest relegation form.  We snuck into the play offs with one of the lowest points totals ever and then got outplayed by Watford for the majority of the 2 legs.  That along with his £1m a year wages is simply not good enough.

Got any real evidence for that?

Now, I know these figures for the season may not be 100% accurate, but seeing as they're from the same source, we can treat them as a decent enough comparison...

Cardiff - £11,510,400

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/cardiff-city/transfers/verein_603_2012_default_default_alle_a_default.html

Hull - £7,427,200

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/hull-city/transfers/verein_3008_2012_default_default_alle_a_default.html

Watford - £0

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/watford-fc/transfers/verein_1010_2012_default_default_alle_a_default.html

Brighton - £1,918,400

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/brighton--hove-albion/transfers/verein_1237_2012_default_default_alle_a_default.html

Palace - £1,518,000

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/crystal-palace/transfers/verein_873_2012_default_default_alle_a_default.html

Leicester - £5,161,000

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/leicester-city/transfers/verein_1003_2012_default_default_alle_a_default.html

Bolton - £2,805,440

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/bolton-wanderers/transfers/verein_355_2012_default_default_alle_a_default.html

Forest - £5,403,200

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/bolton-wanderers/transfers/verein_355_2012_default_default_alle_a_default.html

We can obviously take Watford's figure with a massive pinch of salt, so it'd be interesting to see what that figure would be if all those loans turned to actual transfers. Bolton were a Premier League club last year so obviously wouldn't have had to invest much to bring their squad up to standard, so of the teams around us, only really Palace and Brighton did any better than us, if we're taking money into account.

And of course there are teams in the division such as...

Blackburn - £14,986,400

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/blackburn-rovers/transfers/verein_164_2012_default_default_alle_a_default.html

Wolves - £13,490,400

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/wolverhampton-wanderers/transfers/verein_543_2012_default_default_alle_a_default.html

...who show that no matter how much money you spend, if you manage it poorly then you're not going to do well.

The fact of the matter is, at the end of the season, we had a shot at promotion, which 18 other teams in this division didn't. Pearson had to be doing something right to get us there.

Is it average to finish in the playoffs?

Yes considering the investment before he arrived, and after his arrival.

And yes when we only just scrapped into the playoffs after one of the worse runs in our history, and clearly the poorest side in the playoffs.

We were no nearer to gaining promotion this season, as we were the season before, and in my opinion with this manager in charge we will be no better off next season.

So yes I believe he is very average, and is tactically inept, and has taken us as far as he can.

So if he is better than average tell me what he has achieved 1 league 1 title, two playoffs which he hasn't got us past the semi's, and that's it, he has been around in management for a good few years now, and to me his record doesn't scream out successful.

What I think he is, is an average championship manager, who doesn't have the technical ability to take us a step further, I maybe wrong, and it looks as though he is staying so only time will tell.

The guy is inept from A to Z. The players he has brought in, with the exception of Wes Hall are all pretty average Championship players. He has no idea about adapting style and formation to fit the opposition, he is 100% devoid of character, is unable to handle strong willed players, appears happy when we play poorly, lacks motivation skills, and has FAILED to get us promoted to the Premiership.

I can go on but need I really say more about this awful excuse for a manager.

Keep him and we will not get promoted next season either.

I think a better question is why so many fans (about 20% according to the poll) want Pearson to go. What the fvck have they been watching the past ten years? Does anyone seriously want another Martin Allen, Peter Taylor, Paolo Sousa, Gary Megson? We've got the best young squad we've had in ages - and they are Pearson's men - and we stand a real chance of getting automatic promotion next year.

Building an inbred family requires. Good contact; i.e. the "Sister" connection. Had some fantastic nights earlier on this season. Can't deny we had a brilliant sexual encounter earlier in the season. Stability is key to any marriage's success.

To those who want rid - Who do you want? Mum,maybe?

I would fully understand if I was sucked, purely for the bad sex alone but I just don't know who is realistically available,family-wise.

Kudos,for your honesty!

Who's Wes Hall when he's at home then?

Cheer up DT, another season of Pearson so you can have a good old moan.

That's how much of a fan he is, doesn't know who plays for us.

Looks like Pearson is here for another season so lets just get on with it

On what information, do you base that statement ?!  Is it just Pearson telling the Merc that he's planning for next season ?  Seems a bit flimsy to me - of course, he'll say he's planning for next season - doesn't mean he'll be allowed to !

The only person who's happy when we play poorly is DT.

He's fvcked when we're doing well.

All that and he's got us promoted and into the play offs twice... for someone so shit that's quite an achievement.

Wes Hall was a West Indian cricketer.

By "was" I mean retired, not died ;)

How is not getting promoted an "awful excuse for a manager"?

Yeah, he's not amazing, he's got faults but fvck me you'd think he'd never won a game in charge of us when you turn up.

Just put DT on 'ignore' chaps, I don't know why some of out are responding to his hilariously WUM-orientated comments. Has been for ages.

Good Morning fellow Foxes!!

I wish to attempt a serious, well rounded post this morning with none of the usual weirdness so, just to get it out of the way at the start and allow me to be serious for a moment here we go.........my penis is like the size of a fvcking piece of Risotto rice midway through cooking!!  Seriously, it would be fvcking funny if it wasn't so goddamned tragic!

I am a Pearson supporter and, not only that, am a supporter of the idea that, in general, managers should be given time.  I just feel that he deserves one more season.  If next season does not go to plan then fair enough but surely people can see that the foundations of a good team are there?  It went wrong this year but this is a tough league and, overall, we were the 6th best team in the league.  People go on a bout our dip and how we were lucky to scrape into the play offs and that we only did so because "other teams messed up".  But can't you see that "other teams messing up" is exactly what we did too?   Other teams only overtook us because "we messed up".  This league is crazy, the difference beween top and bottom is so tight, anyone can beat anyone.  We had a dip but so did many other teams it is just you fail to notice wht you are not focussed on.   There is no reason why we cannot expect to become more than the 6th best team if we keep our players and manager, add a bit more quality and see improvement that would be expected in such a young squad.  Pearson rescued us from the lowest point in our history and I will always be thankful to him for restoring dignity to this club.  I know one cannot live in the past but the past should also not be forgotten.  He has gotten us into the play offs twice.  I feel we are slowly improving and I would have more respect in our clud and in our fans if we acted with dignity and fairness and gave him one more season.

On a side note, if people disagreee with me I can fully understand it and I can appreciate the arguemants that he should leave.  But some of the vitriol and hate on here is fvcking mental.  Some of you need to have a bit of a look at your lives.  I don't mean by reacting to me on here or trying to convince yourself you are perfectly within your rights to revel in negativty and get personally offensive and insulting to people you do not even know who are just trying to do a job and maybe are not doing it quite as well as you would like.  I mean you should sit down next time you are alone, have a but of "me time".  Maybe look at yourself in the mirror and say "Am I a nice person?"  "Am I happy with my life and in the fact I like to log on to a unanimous forum to spout vitriol and negativity towards a man who is not quite getting some other men to kick a ball around in quite the way I want?". "If a shop assistant gets their job wrong or the bank maganer makes a mistake I say excuse me could you please double check that, put it right.  If I make a mistake in my own job I expet to be brought up on it in a respectful, constructive matter.  If NP does something wrong I like to say "Fvck you you fvcking cvnt you are a **** and a fvcking tosser and I want you dead and out of my club!".

Anyway, gotta go clean out the ol' foreskin, gets crazy green down there sometimes.

Come on you Foxes!!!  I ****ing love you!!!!!

Risotto rice?  Lucky bar steward, mine's the same size as a piece of sushi rice....  I now have an interesting image of you trying to "bum" NFP with your rice peni5.

This is going to go on all summer isn't it.

To be honest I'm starting to hope we sack him just to shut some of you up.

Or he signs a new 3 year contract?

If he isn't WUMing, years of effort and stupid posts have gone into it.

I actually think he's a bit of a tit.
