Jimothy Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Cahill and Terry deal with pace really well don't they? Exactly. We've seen top teams completely blow away other top teams over the past few seasons. Man City battered Man Utd, Arsenal battered Chelsea etc, doesn't mean the players involved suddenly become shit, just means on the day the winning team were devastatingly good.
Jimothy Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Can't see them staying up. Me neither. Think the most worrying thing for them is that today they weren't terrible. At least if they were terrible, they'd have obvious areas to improve on. But today they just looked like a team out of their depth, a championship team in the premier league. No massive errors, no really poor performances, just totally outclassed.
Stadt Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Think it's a lesson for Cardiff and Tan, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I like Solskjaer, but he's unproven as a manager in this country and they've gone backward under him, they were doing ok under Mackay. That's sort of contradictory though because Swansea just sacked Laudrup .
Jimothy Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 That's sort of contradictory though because Swansea just sacked Laudrup . Yeah but they had gone backwards since last season, they could see it falling apart and took action. It wasn't broken, but it was breaking. Mackay had done nothing wrong, had won promotion and made a decent start to life in the premier league, and then was sacked.

Super_horns Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Few goals around - not one for the defences.
Stadt Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 There something about Gary Monk that a annoys me but I'm not sure what it is.
Jimothy Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 There something about Gary Monk that a annoys me but I'm not sure what it is. You do know he's not actually a Monk, don't you?
AjcW Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 I think pelegrini is actually dead.... I reckon if you took Walt Disney out of his freezer he'd look better than him!!
Vardinhio Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Amazing on MOTD, Lineker just bringing up Shearer's kick on Lennon! haha
Hugo Sanchez Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Well done lineker tell that dirty geordie bastard
Danno Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Cant believe Brody from Homeland got the Swansea job.
Fox92 Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 What a shot from Suarez. The volley that hit the post. Could have been one of the greatest goals I've ever seen. Lineker for bringing that inident up - pretty sure he's done that before as well.
sdb Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Amazing from Gary. Shearer did not look comfortable. Lovely.
ScouseFox Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 What an amazing tackle from Wes Brown hahaha. I didn't think defenders actually did that other than on Fifa.
foxfanazer Posted 9 February 2014 Posted 9 February 2014 Just watched MOTD. Eden Hazard's 2nd goal was a joy. He's a special player. Also Luis Suarez is simple unplayable at the moment. Liverpool look a real threat but I think it's a 2 horsebrace between Chelsea and Man City now with Chelsea the favourites for me. That Wes Brown challenge! Was great when Gary said about Shearer's off the ball discrepancies at Filbo
Fox92 Posted 9 February 2014 Posted 9 February 2014 Agreed, Spurs/Everton was a great game. Felt a bit for Martinez though, didn't think Everton deserved to lose.
kingfox Posted 9 February 2014 Posted 9 February 2014 Clattenburg is a knob. Everton should of had a penalty in the last minute. Didn't deserve to lose, some players should of passed it when they had a chance, a bit too much greediness in the final third. Everton really need to sign Gareth Barry permanently as well, someone like him can make a big difference in the long term.
