Hazard aside there's a number of very good players but none are world class. I'd put them in the same bracket as Portugal, England, France and USA. Definitely a level below Spain, Germany, Italy, Holland, Brazil and Argentina.

It's curious that he's thus far declined all invitations to play for the Belgian squad, mind, but if anything that proves even more that he wouldn't play for England since he's a hundred times more eligible for them(in fact I don't think he actually is eligible for us yet - he'll need to be convinced to sit out a couple more years of international football to play for us I reckon). Odd.

Isn't midfield supposed to be one of our stronger points in terms of talent anyway.
StanSP Posted 6 October 2013 Posted 6 October 2013 Januzaj (if he decides to play for Belgium, why not?), Hazard, Lukaku, Fellaini, Vertonghen, Kompany, Mignolet & Courtois, Dembele, De Bruyne, Benteke, Mirallas, Chadli - there's some serious, serious talent there and that's just off the top of my head of those that play in the Premier League (barring Courtois). Much better prospect than England and I'd expect Belgium to go further than England next summer should they qualify. I think all they need is a draw against Croatia on Friday and they are there.
