ruisliptiger Posted 30 September 2013 Posted 30 September 2013 Who cares ? Me . I'm genuinely interested. Most had us down for relegation before the season started. I'm aware that there is a long way to go but has anyone changed their opinion. Did you have an opinion pre-season Neil?
ruisliptiger Posted 30 September 2013 Posted 30 September 2013 Do you have a season ticket at Hull? Is the atmosphere any good? No, I live too far away to make it worth while on my current funds. From what I've heard on match choice the atmosphere has improved. However, I'm sure that is in a sing when you're winning kind of way. There were times last year when you could have found better atmospheres in a morgue. Our away fans have alway been cracking though, but I'm guessing that is pretty much the same for everybody.
Dan Posted 2 October 2013 Posted 2 October 2013 Hull might actually stay up. In-fact on current form I'd fancy you and Cardiff to come above the North-East pair.
Uncle Albert Posted 2 October 2013 Posted 2 October 2013 S.A.S! When both Sturridge and Suarez are good, then we're going to be brilliant but when they're both not at the races then we're going to struggle, not enough from others chipping in with match winning performances.
Leicesterpool Posted 2 October 2013 Posted 2 October 2013 They have looked a 'breath of fresh air' under him this season. I didnt rate Martinez at all at Wigan , but it seems he has got a bit of magic! Do you think if Everton fans had a chance to have Moyes back they would take him? In a matter of time they'll probably say David who? it'll make Moyes look even worse if Everton get into the top four this season, everyone will be thinking "what on earth was Moyes doing in them ten years!?" I've got to say though Martinez as proved me wrong, i didn't rate him at Wigan and i thought he struggle at Everton.
Captain... Posted 2 October 2013 Posted 2 October 2013 So Torres doesn't get banned because one of the officials saw him gouge Vertongen's face and didn't do anything about it, how the fvck does that make any sense?
purpleronnie Posted 3 October 2013 Posted 3 October 2013 Here's one for matt. Football 'yob' Lord Kinnock escorted from the terraces: Over-excited peer upsets rival fansLord Kinnock watched Cardiff City play Fulham at Craven Cottage, London His enthusiastic cheers 'annoyed other fans' and he was moved Spokesman says it was a coincidence he moved when the goal was scored By LUKE SALKELD PUBLISHED: 13:08, 1 October 2013 | UPDATED: 02:01, 2 October 2013 His boisterous tendency is well known from that infamous moment in 1992. Neil Kinnock’s triumphalist chant of ‘we’re all right’ at a Labour Party rally left him a laughing stock when he lost the General Election days later. Fast forward 21 years and it seems he hasn’t learnt his lesson. Former Labour leader Neil Kinnock's celebrations prompted him to be moved so he could sit with other Cardiff supporters, after his cheers annoyed home fans at Craven Cottage (previous photos) The former Labour leader was spotted at a Premier League football match celebrating wildly when his beloved Cardiff City scored first, 12 minutes into the game. Unfortunately he was seated in the home stands of the rival team Fulham, where his premature boasting was given short shrift. He was promptly escorted from his seat by stewards, along with two of his grandchildren who were with him, and moved to another part of the ground. More...'What are your vital statistics?': Karren Brady reveals the sexism she faced in football as she is named the Tories' new small business tsar I'm sorry for saying 'fighting like girls': BBC pundit Robbie Fowler forced to apologise for jibe about players Lord Kinnock’s exuberance provoked ‘angry responses’ from Fulham fans for ‘spoiling’ their enjoyment of the game, according to an official for the home team. After the match, a Cardiff City supporter wrote on the club’s fan forum: ‘Pleased to see Mr Kinnock sitting two rows in front of me. ‘I am not sure if Neil has as much experience as me of sitting with the home fans but his celebration of our first goal led to him being escorted from the stand.’ Cardiff, who Lord Kinnock has supported since boyhood, won the game 2-1 Cardiff fans had been allocated seats in the home stands after their official allocation sold out. London resident Lord Kinnock was later spotted going ‘bonkers’ in another part of the Craven Cottage ground when Cardiff scored in injury time, handing them a 2-1 victory. It was newly-promoted Cardiff’s first away win in the top flight since 1962, when Lord Kinnock was a student in Wales. ‘I don’t think I went wild but I did express great joy, standing up, there’s no doubt at all about that.' Lord Kinnock Yesterday Sarah Brookes, from Fulham FC, said: ‘Mr Kinnock was located in the home stand on Saturday and caused some angry responses when he and his family celebrated the Cardiff City goal. ‘He was relocated in the Putney end – the away stand – where there were a number of spare seats. ‘Mr Kinnock was asked very politely by one of the stewards if he would like to sit with the away fans. We would do that with any fan who celebrates a goal because the home area is for home fans.’ A spokesman for the Labour peer claimed it was just a coincidence that he was moved. But Lord Kinnock later confessed: ‘I didn’t give it a second thought, sitting in the front row by the corner flag and everybody was very pleasant. ‘Then in the 12th minute I did what I’ve done for 65 years of supporting the city and leapt up, and so did the kids.’ Speaking to BBC Radio Wales, he continued: ‘I don’t think I went wild but I did express great joy, standing up, there’s no doubt at all about that. ‘Within a minute or so the Fulham stewards, who were a model of courtesy, said, “Mr Kinnock we think you might be more comfortable in the Cardiff standâ€. ‘So I said, “OK, where would that be?†And they pointed to some seats and I said that would be fine. ‘The stewards acted quite quickly and the last thing I wanted to do was cause them any trouble or offend anyone’s sensibilities. I thought I was just in a mixed section.’ Lord Kinnock said he and his family walked the 25 yards into the Cardiff section where they were ‘greeted with some warmth’ and ‘had a much better view of the game’. ‘Everyone was very good natured and good humoured,’ he added.

How the fcuk can you sit in a football ground and not know where your own fans are after you have scored a goal? And they say politicians are out of touch?
purpleronnie Posted 3 October 2013 Posted 3 October 2013 How the fcuk can you sit in a football ground and not know where your own fans are after you have scored a goal? And they say politicians are out of touch? They were on the right, so he was a little confused.
Guest MattP Posted 3 October 2013 Posted 3 October 2013 They were on the right, so he was a little confused. Well let's hope he learnt that turning to the right ends up with you on a winning team.

It doesn't. Mourinho's ridiculous explanation suggests he has no clue as to why the FA didn't look into it.
Leicesterpool Posted 3 October 2013 Posted 3 October 2013 Nathan Dyer for England! he's the type of player we need got a bit of pace on the wing plus he's got some aggression.
MC Prussian Posted 3 October 2013 Posted 3 October 2013 Nathan Dyer for England! he's the type of player we need got a bit of pace on the wing plus he's got some aggression.Yeah, aggression that should've been rewarded with a straight red. Some of the stuff you're coming up with lately is hilarious, Leicsterpool Aston Villa fan.
Uncle Albert Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 Yeah, aggression that should've been rewarded with a straight red. Some of the stuff you're coming up lately is hilarious, Leicsterpool Aston Villa fan. His opinion has now become invalid to me, he has just dismissed Joe Hart from the England squad for next summer if we get to the World Cup. Heads gone. Liverpool need to win convincingly tomorrow and go back top of the League, hopefully. Usually the kind of game where Liverpool will slip up at home to a newly promoted team, Holloway did it with Blackpool as well last time he was in the Premier League. Big game for Jordan Henderson, can see him playing in the Lucas role and hopefully Henderson can put pressure on Lucas for his place! Been so impressed with Henderson since February of this year, been one of Liverpool's best players. That's not even a lie. Suarez and Sturridge need to kill Crystal Palace off early. Are Man City there for the taking against Everton tomorrow lunch or will they be too strong? Can also see Sunderland getting a point at home to United as well.
ScouseFox Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 Good game this. Lukaku is just a fúcking beast.
ealingfox Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 How on earth is Jon Moss reffing Prem games? It was well publicized how bloody shit he was at lower levels, and now he's doing top matches. Says it all about the standard of reffing in this country. And yes, he has been mega-shit today too.
Stadt Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 Lukaku - 4 goals Moses - 1 goal Torres - 0 Eto'o - 0 Ba - 0

Says it all about the standard of reffing in this country. And yes, he has been mega-shit today too. Was just about to say this. The challenge on Lukaku was more of a penalty than the Zabaleta one for me. Another example of ref's favouring the big teams at home.
Guest shearfox Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 Lukaku - 4 goals Moses - 1 goal Torres - 0 Eto'o - 0 Ba - 0 Chelsea don't like forwards scoring goals, ask Sturridge
marko Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 1-0 Sunderland. To be fair to Dithering Dave it was a poor clearance by Jones and not helped by a floundering Vidic.
Fox92 Posted 5 October 2013 Posted 5 October 2013 What is everybody's opinion on Hull City A.F.C's chances now. I have to admit our start has took me by surprise. We has recruited well an were playing like we belong there. However, I wise enough to know we are only a couple of injuries or bad results away from everything going tits up. Who's opinion has changed over the last month? I think you will stay up... One of my housemates is a Hull fan, and I told him that before the season even started. Bruce has been there and done it before at Birmingham, and he did well at Wigan... You have the ability to beat teams like Newcastle, just enjoy the games against Manchester United and Liverpool.
