suffolk fox Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 Thought it amusing he didn't turn up today for his disciplinary hearing at Brighton.
Fox92 Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 What would happen if I didn't turn up for my recent disciplinary hearing, eh!? A 'normal' person wouldn't get it away with it... Poyet will be off, if we didn't know that already.
AKCJ Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 The amount of respect he's showing to Brighton isn't 'amusing'. If he was our gaffer and he did the same I don't think we'd find it funny.
Super_horns Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 Brighton need to get a manager in - will soon be back to Pre-season and all that.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 The amount of respect he's showing to Brighton isn't 'amusing'. If he was our gaffer and he did the same I don't think we'd find it funny. But he ain't, that's why he finds it amusing
Danizen Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 But he ain't, that's why he finds it amusingExactly. The same way the whole country thought our play-off defeat was fooking heeelarious but we were just distraught.
Leicesterpool Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 Brighton should sack Poyet, he's taking the p*ss with them. Brighton will be able to attract a good manager.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 What would happen if I didn't turn up for my recent disciplinary hearing, eh!? A 'normal' person wouldn't get it away with it... Poyet will be off, if we didn't know that already. Who said you were normal?
W88DY Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 Thought it amusing he didn't turn up today for his disciplinary hearing at Brighton. What has Poyet done wrong then for todays meeting to take place? I know i don`t keep up, I did read after the loss to Palace about him being suspended and some talk about shite outside the dressing room. Fill me in someone !
Corky Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 It's alright, the Old Boys Network (sorry, LMA) are backing him http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11688/8781050/
Guest Bilo Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 The LMA would literally back Stuart Hall if he was in football management.

Poyet will be off, if we didn't know that already. Varying different stories here , apparently he didn't know (despite it being covered everywhere media wise) - the original meeting was for Friday , but he was stuck in Europe due to the French air strikes , He appears on the Confed Cup BBC Show Monday night and didn't attend Yesterday due to just coming back from Holiday apparently We've offered him the door to quit should he wish , he's sticking firm for a pay off it seems .... the only positive is a lot of talk of the new manager already should/when Gus goes being Oscar Garcia Junyent , but we'll see I guess. The new disciplinary meeting is Thursday.
MPH Posted 19 June 2013 Posted 19 June 2013 The amount of respect he's showing to Brighton isn't 'amusing'. If he was our gaffer and he did the same I don't think we'd find it funny. He's clearly wanting to get himself sacked..... But I wonder if he realizes that he isn't sending out a good signal to any future employers. He certainly wont get a top Job in football yet.-in England, the best he can hope for is a mediocre prem team... but they will know by now that as soon as he gets the jealous glance upwards disease again he'll be off quicker than Gary Glitters trousers at a Mr Blobby birthday party personal appearance.

Im sure hes actually turned down a couple of jobs in the Prem over the past year That said, we dont know what has happened behind their scenes so picking the villian right now is abit ott
BHAFC Braders Posted 19 June 2013 Posted 19 June 2013 Do you want rid of him? Torn to be honest , he's the best manager I've seen and we've played some of the best football I've seen under him , however since last Summer he's been touting himself for every job going and with this latest spat I really can't see a way back for him. I'd be gutted but it would probably be best for all parties.
SystonFox Posted 19 June 2013 Posted 19 June 2013 Fair comments. I get the feeling he thinks he is a better manager than he is and fancies a crack at the prem. would be punching above his weight. Too big an ego. Which is odd cos he comes across well on TV and in the media. Never seen any bad press about him. Bar him shitting on floors

I wouldn't call them a mediocre prem team though but a poor one at the time.... Cant think of anyone else?

Bar him shitting on floors Spot on the money , doubt many Premiership chairman would stand for half as many toys out the pram moment as Gus has given us down the last couple of years. His nickname at Chelsea was the radio , and it's spot on to be fair - as the Poogate , well that will no doubt come out soon as the actual culprit.. Think he turned down reading didn't he? I wouldn't call them a mediocre prem team though but a poor one at the time.... Cant think of anyone else? He's touted himself for every job going both home and abroad all season , loads of talk about Newcastle being his next destination. anyways it's D Day Today , *gulp*
Jimothy Posted 23 June 2013 Posted 23 June 2013 Sacked. SSN just tweeted it, not seen anymore details yet.
21st Century Fox Posted 23 June 2013 Posted 23 June 2013 He's currently in the BBC studio as a pundit isn't he? Awkward.
Fox92 Posted 23 June 2013 Posted 23 June 2013 No surprise, is it? Done very well with Brighton though and I imagine he could attract a lot of clubs. He's currently in the BBC studio as a pundit isn't he? Awkward. Really? How they going to sack him, by text? 'or8 Gus m8, you're sacked'
