Leicester Lass Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 I still cant believe LCFC haven't signed the relevant paper work for this to go a head.. Stupid I know. It has all been signed now. Delay is because Susan Whelan is in Thailand.
Ashley Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 It has all been signed now. Delay is because Susan Whelan is in Thailand. Oh dear!
LCFC FOX Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 Why would Susan being on holiday make a difference to when the people put it on the website? In pretty sure Susan Whelan does not do tun the website on her own

We haven't had things sorted out our end until very recently, hence no confirmation yet.

Bert Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 'Cause they don't have fax machines or scanners over there....She's only telling everyone what she was told herself.
PAULCFC Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 We sound very tinpot......and the sad thing is im not suprised!
MC Prussian Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 She has to sign the paperwork. Monaco completed things their side a while ago, hence announcing it. I can see people taking holidays, but surely, you have an assistant or replacement taking care of things or set it all up before you leave? Since the date and opposition is set, I wonder if that's really the only reason that is holding it all back. The games's in three weeks time, not that I'm worried. Plenty of time to announce it still. Maybe they're just working on some PR material and strategy to implement that day... Like filming Falcao trying to find his way to the King Power Stadium on his own.
Leicester Lass Posted 7 July 2013 Posted 7 July 2013 Initially an agency was used to set up the friendly, Monaco did their paperwork which was delayed in getting through to us via the agency. We're now dealing directly with Monaco in organising the friendly. Like I said, it WILL go ahead and the club have set prices for the game. They just don't want to announce prematurely, as they did with Boca Juniors all those years ago. That would look a whole lot more unprofessional than a delayed announcement, no? They missed a huge trick by not announcing and having tickets on sale with the kit yesterday so there may well be a reason for the added delay. I was told all this on Thursday night, at which point they were confident of an imminent announcement.

MC Prussian Posted 8 July 2013 Posted 8 July 2013 They've just signed Eric Abidal. We won't announce that, either.
FoxyPalace.com Posted 8 July 2013 Posted 8 July 2013 Just rang LCFC again! Ticket section is closed but I spoke to another guy who told me that the game is in the pipeline 100%, they are awaiting any day now to start selling tickets, He confirmed to me that there is a Contract issue at the moment, But it due to be sorted like anytime now
ealingfox Posted 9 July 2013 Posted 9 July 2013 Well done LCFC on the pricing, seems very reasonable to me.
kingfox Posted 9 July 2013 Posted 9 July 2013 Season Ticket holders only have until tomorrow to claim their seat. Bit shit that, as the website will probably go down again.
LCFC FOX Posted 9 July 2013 Posted 9 July 2013 Where will the singing section be then lads? Lets get one going like Burton at home last season again
Bert Posted 9 July 2013 Posted 9 July 2013 Season Ticket holders only have until tomorrow to claim their seat. Bit shit that, as the website will probably go down again. As well as the majority of ST holders being at work.
stu Posted 9 July 2013 Posted 9 July 2013 Season Ticket holders only have until tomorrow to claim their seat. Bit shit that, as the website will probably go down again. Indeed, tried to buy 3 tickets and getting an error message when I go to pay...
kingfox Posted 9 July 2013 Posted 9 July 2013 As well as the majority of ST holders being at work. And that as well. Then they get home, decide to go online and the website goes all shit on them. Will probs go down myself tomorrow afternoon, as it's my Job Centre day.
promised land Posted 9 July 2013 Posted 9 July 2013 Anyone else having problems buying online? I just signed in, picked my STH seat, went to pay and it asked for my details, address etc. A bit odd seeing as I'd already signed in, then after entering my card details it tells me to use another card or try again later. Also did I read it right saying "paper tickets"? We have cards they told us to hang onto last season so why paper tickets.
Leicester Lass Posted 9 July 2013 Posted 9 July 2013 Season Ticket holders only have until tomorrow to claim their seat. Bit shit that, as the website will probably go down again. Seats aren't reserved because the East Stand isn't open. The first day is just STH sales only, not the period that seats are reserved for.
Foxes1 Posted 9 July 2013 Posted 9 July 2013 We won't sell many at those prices, should charge the same price as Bournemouth are for their glamour Friendly against Real Madrid. especially to thank the fans for their support last season.
