Yes I'm French.

Fan of Monaco since 1989 :) so not a plastic fan.

 

What are ticket prices like in France?  Expensive like England or cheap like Germany?

Dont even expect them to field there best squad, seeing as they play Spurs after us.

If it's bought and paid for like the Real Madrid friendly was, I'd expect there to be some agreement to play their best players. Even if it's only for an hour.

So July 27th is possibly when we see the new kit or will they be on sale before that in the shop?

The last time I went into the shop three or so weeks ago they still had racks of the blue and black shirts to shift.

They're in the middle of buying a whole new team, they might want to give some of them as many minutes together as possible before the season starts.

Nope, shirt is revealed on July 6th. Probably go on sale either that day or very soon after.

Well, that's a relief. An opposition fan who has actually seen his team go through years of turmoil and STILL supports them. lol

 

Anyway, I just read upon the match on the few Monaco messageboards there are and some of the AS fans don't take us very seriously:

We're already branded the "Butchers of Leicester". I think they still see us stuck in the 70ies. Or maybe they're thinking of Stoke. lol

To be honest I don't know him and I think most of the people in France are like me. Probably because he does not in France or in a big club.

Most of the players who won the Ligue 2 championship will become substitute unfortunately...  :( 

Our president wants to be in the top 3 in Ligue 1, so no choice to buy big names to achive this.

Bigger than Leicester :P

 

Home attendance is quite low, when we were in Ligue 1 the average was 10,000/12,000. Monaco is just 30,000 people. Most of the supporters are outside of Monaco and often quite far, so difficult to come.

Our stadium is quite small too (~18,000 seats).

I am quite sure that with Falcao and some other top players the average will be increase :)

That's not bad!  Our standard tickets are about £25 which is about 30Euro.. and this is the 2nd tier of English football :/

 

And after a quick search, Knockaert actually played against you when he was at Guingamp... and scored!
