The Year Of The Fox Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Root at 150. Declaration coming soon then. You'd like to think so. How bad would it be if it pissed it down tomorrow and Monday?!
AKCJ Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 526 lead. The Aussies are never getting that. We might as well declare and get cracking.
Guest Bilo Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 526 lead. The Aussies are never getting that. We might as well declare and get cracking. Indeed, we could have this wrapped up before tomorrow teatime. Bell didn't get the century, Root's on a 150 and we've established an unassailable lead. Not much point in carrying on really.
ScouseFox Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Fúcking humiliate them. A 300+ run victory would be superb. Ashton Agar's bowling figures on a pitch our spinner got a 5 fer. lol hahahahaha
Guest shearfox Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Everybody wants to see the Aussies battered but this is now ridiculous
Matt Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Root to get 200? Think they could just be waiting to Root is out before we declare.

The Year Of The Fox Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 I'll be honest- I'm starting feel sorry for Clarke and co now!
I am Rod Hull Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 I'll be honest- I'm starting feel sorry for Clarke and co now! No, no, no, no, no..... just no.
Corky Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Edge to slip, he reviews, plumb in front, he reviews, off stump gone, he reviews, stumped by yards, he reviews
Guest ttfn Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Great day at Lord's today. Felt very sorry for the Aussie tourists in the Mound Stand next to us. Aside from the two wickets there was barely a chance in the day (Bell "catch" not withstanding) and some of them were absolutely beside themselves. They've spend thousands getting here and have been served up total shit from their players. Today was like playing Bangladesh and the Aussie fans deserve better. Great knock from Root, mind.
marko Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Who do we want to replace KP then? He's only been ruled out of the final two days; he could easily be fit for the 3rd Test.
I am Rod Hull Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Who do we want to replace KP then? Does it really matter?
Brainy Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Compton bats similar position to KP at Somerset i'm quite sure
Guest Bilo Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 This is basically vengeance for the 1990s, where successive England teams were utterly humiliated by the Aussies series after series. Long may it continue.
marko Posted 20 July 2013 Posted 20 July 2013 Compton bats similar position to KP at Somerset i'm quite sure Compton opens for Somerset.
