The Aussies are having a rough time with the DRS but I coundn`t give a fook  :D

Anything that winds them up and makes them cry is ok by me.... Aussie tears taste like honey and I want to lick them from their dopey retarded looking eyes and fat sun burnt cheeks...

lol Did you hear the 5live phone in last night from about 730pm with Vaughan? You're reminding me of the sarf African who rang in!

Can see us being on the end of an innings plus defeat in this test, can't rely on our tail to make the bulk of the runs again. I think we played a hell of a lot closer to our best and you guys were miles off yours. Anderson and Broad will rip thru us on a quicker wicket (Which i believe this one to be).

Well if you had made us follow on it would of been an Innings defeat.

See David Warner the doughnut only bagged 17 runs in Zimbabwe? Don't think he is the answer for them.

Didn't realise they have a tour of South Africa after the winter Ashes either, Darren Lehman has got his work cut out after this Series!

Pattinson ruled out of the rest of the series.

He just can't string together games, Harris will probably need a rest so thing Jackson Bird and Starc will come in for both of them. Would also like to see Haddin dropped for Wade, Wade is the future and should of been playing the first test as it is.

Your quicks do seem fairly injury prone. Any ideas why? Too much cricket with International and Domestic schedules? Harder surfaces impacting more through their bodies?

Think Pattinson is terrible, could be a blessing.

Agree with Roo that Wade should come in for Haddin, his keeping looked very subject at Lords!

He's certainly not terrible, but he's been found out a bit over here.

He picked up some cheap wickets against New Zealand on some helpful pitches and has decent figures against India, in India, but he's struggled against both us and South Africa with a less than impressive average. He was also less than impressive in his one Test in the West Indies.

If he can avoid injuries he'll be a decent International quick, but I'm not convinced he's the next Glenn McGrath like some people think.

Unfortunate thing for Pattinson is that his next two Test series are against Enland and South Africa, you would think he will need a good series in one of the next two for Australia to persist with him.

Anyone else watching the Twenty20 on Sky tonight and listen to Dominic Cork on who he thinks should replace Pietersen if he can't make Old Trafford? Samit Patel, yes you read that right. I know he only does domestic Cricket and would never be considered for International coverage but seriously, that's just ridiculous..

I think Agar should be dropped forget his 98 his bowling his well below average, maybe a good player in the future but Lyon would be more effective now, controversial but I would also drop Watson he has been found out and won't make more than 50 this series and will waste reviews along the way , shocking attitude.

Agree with Wade coming in and Bird for Patto, but Harris should be right.

Cracking test match. We look too good at the minute and that was the Aussie side we thought they were.

Agar not good enough, Lyon in next. Really is hard to see anything other than 5-0 at the minute.

Great to finally see Root show the talent he has as well, the other great thing is his spin looks that good at the minute we might well be done with Monty for pitches we need two spinners from, incredible bonus to have for a opening bat.

Hotel was superb, 250 Aussies on the sports tour and met some great people, managed to have a decent night with Merv Hughes and also spoke to Terry Alderman and Allan Border for quite a while.

Here's Big Merv with us all slightly worse for wear.

Impossible now, just need to try and go grey and bold with some sort of dignity.

Hack it all off while you still have a choice mate. Marine Corps-style.

Either that or find Warney/Gooch at the next Test and ask him about the hair replanting stuff they had done.  :P

Don't think I could hack it off, too precious!

Did just laugh at this part of an article by an Aussie Writer in realtion to Ashton Turner getting a game in the tour match.

"Perhaps desperate selectors are under the allusion any younger spinner called Ashton who plays for WA is capable of colossal feats. Or maybe, having tried so many spinners in the post-Warne era incapable of doing anything with the ball, they have picked one who is, indisputably, a Turner.

Turner is, with Agar and Nathan Lyon, one of three spinners in the team to play Sussex. If our tweakers can’t outbowl Graeme Swann, perhaps they can outnumber him"

It's probably the 130 overs they have to bowl every innings.

This is one for people to think about, Are England good? or are Australia poor?

I'd say a mix of the two, but we do have a very good side.

We've got a captain who's England leading century maker at 28. His new opening partner looks like he could well turn into one of England's greats. A middle order of Trott, KP and Bell is generally extremely solid and has the ability to take the game away from the opposition in an hour. Matty Prior is the best 'keeper-batsmen in world cricket - he's had a few poor innings, but that was to be expected given his outstanding form of 2012. Plus, our all round attack is very good - Swann has an impressive 230+ from 50 odd Tests, Jimmy is always reliable who has become arguably the best bowler in world cricket at the minute, and Broad, love him or loathe him, has nigh on 200 wickets and has the ability to bowl a match winning spell like at the Oval 2009 vs Australia and India at Trent Bridge in 2011.

We are very good.

We have a side who can win in India, that's unheard of, we have won 4 consecitive Ashes tests, we won 3-1 in Austyralia and we would have won the series overall had we had one innings and Australia had two.

We beat India 4-0 at home.

Had we not had that awful shambles against South Africa where off the field problems dogged us we would be called great, as good as the Saffers are this Aussie team got a draw in South Africa and look what we are doing to them.
