AjcW Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 To suggest that all other outlets don't provide similar levels of interest, professionalism and good features is clearly nonsense. Sky just have a shit load more money to throw at it than the others.I wasn't doing that at all matey! I'm well aware who you work for and it's the only other organisation I'd be happy to watch cricket/football on.Apologise if that came across wrong, was just making a point about how much they impress me with the extra features that some other organisations just replace with adverts or nonsense talk.

Sorry I misunderstood the point you were making There's no doubt that Sky do have some impressive presenters and pundits though.
StanSP Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 Is this longest Australia have gone without losing a wicket?!
NathanC93 Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 Joe Root is having a fantastic game. We needed to break that partnership and he pops up with an important wicket.
StanSP Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 Silly shot from Clarke. Can only imagine he wasn't sure there was a leg slip there.
StanSP Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 Could be another wicket here for Root! Nope, review unsuccessful in for England. Nothing showing on hotspot.
Matt Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 Root takes another wicket. Hmmmm, wonder who's going to be man of the match in this test?
StanSP Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 That's definitely out that one! Khawaja out. Root again.
marko Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 Root takes another wicket. Hmmmm, wonder who's going to be man of the match in this test? It probably will go to Root, but Swann's 5 for in the first innings really set the match up for us.
StanSP Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 Tiny nick on the bat! Review unsuccessful for Australia again! Bresnan gets the wicket. Collapse continues...
ScouseFox Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 No mark on hotspot but looked out but not given but reviewed and gone. Can't work that out but happy days.
Matt Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 Harsh, I didn't see any hotspot. Did hear abit of noise, but can see why he's abit bemused. Hey ho, another wicket! Should get it wrapped up today now.
Swarles Barkley Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 Well it was the right decision but the wrong decision. Cant think of another way to put it
Fez of Mahrez Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 This is part of the reason I don't want technology in football.
theessexfox Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 I didn't think he hit it... no hotspot, and the noise and 'deflection' weren't very conclusive. Baffling decision.
StanSP Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 Is that the Agar wicket you're on about? Missed that! More technological failure?
marko Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 Is that the Agar wicket you're on about? Missed that! More technological failure? Absolutely nothing to do with technology failures, it's the poor implementation of it by the 3rd umpire. Haddin gone now, game over. Shame, as I had a ticket for tomorrow and was hoping the Aussies would see the day out.

Super_horns Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 Unlucky for Agar - shame if the technology is the main talking point again. I guess football would be like that if we had loads of it in the game.
marko Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 If the Aussies are 9 down at the close, will you go? Yeah, definitely. There's not many occasions you'd get to witness an Ashes victory at Lords in the flesh.
ScouseFox Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 Bowlingggg Jimmy! Finish this soon so I can make some tea. Thanks.
