tewkesbury-fox Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Not sure if this has been posted else where In the Mirror page 61 bottom page Leicester manager Nigel pearson to take Jamie Ward from Derby County in a 750k deal
blueblood88 Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Good player, quick, decent on the ball, knows were the net is. Him and knockaert on the wings would be very good at this level
Wymsey Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 I thought he signed a new contract with them anyway during the season just gone.
Bert Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 I thought he signed a new contract with them anyway during the season just gone. Not worth the paper it's written on!
Ricey Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Jason Bourne said it hasn't happened, no contact made. Just because no contact has been made, doesn't mean it isn't happening.
Bausor Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 can score goals too, would be another option down the wing
Spiritwalker Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Would definately improve our starting 11. My only concern is that he seems injury prone.
Corky Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 I thought he signed a new contract with them anyway during the season just gone. Just bumps up the transfer fee really.
Fox92 Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Decent player. Never liked him, he's one of them that just annoys me unless he plays for Leicester (bit like Nugent). We do need another winger though, and Ward is certainly quick and can score goals. Winds players up as well.

We should just sign all the twat players. Chopra next...
JayT - Always A Fox! Posted 4 July 2013 Posted 4 July 2013 Wiki is never a good source of info however it does seem to often state he's missed great opportunities due to injury - maybe if we kept him fit who knows could be a great little punt! Ouuush!
LorenzoMoresco Posted 11 July 2013 Posted 11 July 2013 Good afternoon, I signed up here to inform you that your club are in pursuit of Derby County's Jamie Ward. Senior staff at Leicester are well aware of the valuation of £2m that Nigel Clough has placed on the player, but that will not stop your interest. Despite this, I doubt you will match their valuation.

We will make a bid a week before the season starts, it will get rejected, he will hand in a transfer request, our second bid will accepted because Clough is like Pearson in those situations, and before the boro game he shall be an lcfc player.

Followed by picture of him holding XXXL shirt at Belvoir Drive. "It's always been a dream to come to such a massive club. The ground, fanbase, training ground are all first class. I want to be part of what the gaffer is building here. The club is really going places..... yadda, yadda,yadda......"

LorenzoMoresco Posted 11 July 2013 Posted 11 July 2013 Hello Jamies agent That made me smile, but it isn't the case. I agree with Callabinho, this one will rumble on until after the season starts.

Soar Fox Posted 11 July 2013 Posted 11 July 2013 Wasn't Nigel Clough interested in Waghorn a year or two ago. Offer them £750,000 + Waghorn.
