The studio's based in Nottingham so the news and sport tends to have a bias towards them, I guess they don't like travelling and it's cheaper. I do believe that when the season gets going they tend to report based on who's highest in the League unless something big happens.

We're always on last or just before the 0-0s. If anything I'd say Manish goes so far towards hiding his bias that we end up getting shafted.

As if Manish actually has a say in it Not on the running order of the matches, following Gary Lineker on Twitter is enough to tell you the presenter doesn't deal with that. The producers shaft us in that respect all on their own. But I trust that if we didn't already know, we would have no idea Manish was a fox watching him mention us on the show.

wight88 Posted 17 July 2013 Posted 17 July 2013 As the florist ground is quite near to the meadows estate, lenton, sneinton and hyson green it makes logical sense to go straight from the scene of the latest murder/shooting/armed robbery/human remains found on a remote pig farm story to the football news. Saves on petrol and admin costs, beeb cutbacks and all that.
leicesterseddon Posted 17 July 2013 Posted 17 July 2013 Pff. As others have said, real evidence of any kind of 'bias' is hard to come by...whilst supposition from fans is aplenty. It's natural for people involved in presenting football programmes to themselves follow a club - but the coverage doesn't hinge on the views of the presenter. Much more likely to be determined by the programme's editor or executive producer. The only real 'bias' I can see in any of the coverage is in favour of the clubs who are doing well or predicted to do well. In fact, by the time you come to mid-September it is almost possible to predict the running order and coverage on the FLS just by glancing at the table, so mechanical has the selection process been in the past.
sylofox Posted 17 July 2013 Posted 17 July 2013 Have you ever thought for one minute part of the reason we are in a mess now is down to the press. They told everyone we were loaded so prices and wages went up because of that. Now we can't spend stupid we are not news.
