beryllind Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 The team for Middlesborough will be totally predictable from Mr P, same team that played most of the time at the end of last season with the one enforced change Whitbread for Keane, score 2-1 against.
XLM Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 any chance of this being streamed somewhere? since the prem isn't on we might get a shout on Al Jazeera or something along those lines?
whoareyaaa Posted 1 August 2013 Posted 1 August 2013 any chance of this being streamed somewhere? since the prem isn't on we might get a shout on Al Jazeera or something along those lines? Don't think so not listed anywhere at the moment best checking on the day of the match really.
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 2 August 2013 Posted 2 August 2013 It will be.... Kasp St L Morg Whit De Laet Drink James King Konch Wood Nuge Subs: Conrad Marsh Reg Vardy Dyer Danns Moore Knocky
Ric Flair Posted 2 August 2013 Posted 2 August 2013 It will be.... Kasp St L Morg Whit De Laet Drink James King Konch Wood Nuge Subs: Conrad Marsh Reg Vardy Dyer Danns Moore Knocky I really hope we don't perservere with Konchesky at LWB, we might as well play with 10 men. He offers hardly anything going forward and when he does, if he gets caught out then he can't get back quick enough. It's negatively wreckless. I'd rather have a player there that might leave space on the counter atatck but will be dangerous when we have the ball on the break. You just know Pearson is going to start the season with him there though. Play him as the left cb in a back 3 and put Dyer there, it's not very difficult.

Hoping Bakayogo is fit enough and rated enough to take that LWB position. Got bags of pace by the sounds of it and fits the criteria you mention. Still think Konch as LCB would be a mistake
Leicester_Numan Posted 2 August 2013 Posted 2 August 2013 Looks like St Ledger nearly wasn't playing "@Smak1884: Just seen the funniest thing City coach leave the ground & as I'm driving away St.Ledger running to the ground and the coach turn back !"
Danno Posted 2 August 2013 Posted 2 August 2013 Jesus pre season went by fast. Think it will be Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Whitbread Konchesky King James Drinkwater Schlupp Wood Dyer Hope Knockaert and Nuge start though.
muzzy1981 Posted 2 August 2013 Posted 2 August 2013 I think we'll play 4-4-2 and we'll draw 2-2. Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Whitbread Konchesky Knockaert King James Dyer Nugent Wood It's not a particularly "out there" team sheet but I'd be surprised if we lined up with anything else. Completely agree with this. Think people need to chill out on the excitement of 352 because it was experimented with during friendlies, can't see Pearson being that adventurous first game. A simple 442 and a 0 0 draw I think
Robey_MFC Posted 2 August 2013 Posted 2 August 2013 Steele Hoyte Williams woodgate friend Varga whitehead Carayol Lead bitter Emnes Juke Imagine they are the eleven that start but not sure on the formation. Could be as above or a 4 33 or a 4 4 1 1
fleckneymike Posted 2 August 2013 Posted 2 August 2013 If I ruled the world 4231 GK Kasper RB DeLaet CB Morgan CB SSL LB Knochesky CM James CM King AMRMarhsall AMCKnockaert AMLNugent CFWood This means we could switch with ease to 442, 451, 433 without any subs Sadly I doubt this will happen
Callabinho Posted 2 August 2013 Posted 2 August 2013 Is this a must win game? I'm concerned for the mass meltdown that may occur of we lose....
fleckneymike Posted 2 August 2013 Posted 2 August 2013 Is this a must win game? I'm concerned for the mass meltdown that may occur of we lose.... Nah. It's a must play well game. We like to think we're a bunch of miserable bastards but play well and we'll forgive just about everything.
Wymsey Posted 2 August 2013 Posted 2 August 2013 I hope Dyer plays a blinder, because Jonathan Woodgate is most likely going to be right-back.
Harry - LCFC Posted 2 August 2013 Posted 2 August 2013 Hoyte's their first choice RB, unless he's injured?
Wymsey Posted 2 August 2013 Posted 2 August 2013 Hoyte's their first choice RB, unless he's injured? I'm only quoting Woodgate in that position because he played on that side whilst at Stoke, and a good number of their fans thought he was too slow.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 2 August 2013 Posted 2 August 2013 I can't quite believe that unless I get food poisoning I'll only have 1 more shit between now and the first game of the season. It's almost upon us. Incredible Other than the football I've missed your posts BJS
Monsell1976 Posted 2 August 2013 Posted 2 August 2013 I'm going 3-1 to boro, but live in hope for a draw.
MC Prussian Posted 2 August 2013 Posted 2 August 2013 My guess it's going to be an early stalemate. 1-1. Although, with a bit of luck we can push them to a defeat and nick all three points. Expect nothing but the strongest line-up possible: Schmeichel Whitbread Morgan St. Ledger Konchesky De Laet King James Knockaert Wood Nugent
LCFC1991 Posted 2 August 2013 Posted 2 August 2013 We will play 442 and would take a 1-1 draw. Kingy to score.
