Ian W LCFC Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Losing 2-1 to Northampton, I know it is pre-season but that is CRAP.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 I do wonder if other local radio stations have live reports of their team's matchs. good gried SSL needs 1st team action to gaurentee his Ireland shirt.... yeah, right.
Simmo86 Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Losing 2-1 to Northampton, I know it is pre-season but that is CRAP. Who cares?
kingfox Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 YESSSSSSSSSSSSS St Ledger scored. What an Own Goal Cvnt.
FoxyPalace.com Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 As I say poor! Poor against York, Monaco and now Northampton. We have been bullied by Northampton! Sort it out pearson or you know whats gonna happen
5waller5 Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 I'll tell you who cares about friendlies ...... Nigel Pearson. He cares alot ..... He's said on many many occasions that he wants to win every game and that it's essential to put in a performance. To lose to Northampton just doesn't fill anyone with any confidence ahead of the first game.
Lionator Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 When Sven was here we lost 2-1 to Real, now we're losing 2-1 to Northampton, not good
Vlad The Impaler Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 #LCFC4Relegation #Cut4SSL Just spat out my drink!
Ian W LCFC Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Who cares? The fans that spent their money to pay to watch that crap. As I said it is only pre-season but we should be putting 4/5 against Northampton.
Monsell1976 Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Looks like vardy's the new scape goat now wellens and becks have gone. Some of our fans have no patience why does someone have to be a scapegoat, if there shit there shit, he is well out of his depth.
kingfox Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Relegation here we come 5-0 loss away at Yeovil here we come Pearson Out, Warnock In here we come
Harry - LCFC Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Well that's basically sealed our relegation. Failing to beat Northampton in a meaningless friendly does, of course, mean we have no hope whatsoever this season.
5waller5 Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Interesting that Jason Bourne is doing the NP interview .... Maybe RL have learnt that Stringer shouldn't be anywhere near him!!
iamafox Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 When Sven was here we lost 2-1 to Real, now we're losing 2-1 to Northampton, not good We would have won tonight if Sven was still in charge.
Babylon Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 It's hard to know from Stringer's ramblings how we've played ..... but it sounds awful!!!! Whilst I can tolerate a loss to Monaco, to draw against Northampton and not create loads of chances just isn't good enough. We lost 2-0 to Shrewsbury last year and drew against York like this year. That was hardly an indication of anything to come as we did very well for two thirds of the season after that playing some great stuff, scoring goals and keeping clean sheets.Maybe we'll be shit, maybe we won't, but these games mean nothing and can't be used as accurate indicators of anything!
FoxyPalace.com Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 why does someone have to be a scapegoat, if there shit there shit, he is well out of his depth. Bye Pearson thanks but you aint got what it take's Ps take Vardy Shitebread Drinkwater Futacs With you!
5waller5 Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 What do people get out of making a loss not significant???? You are listening to the game or there ..... whilst also posting on a LCFC forum ..... How can losing to Northampton and playing so badly make you so happy??????
Ric Flair Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Pre-season results and performances don't really matter on a the grand scale of things, but when the mood around the club and fans is like it is at ours right now, this does casts further doubts. It's the distinct lack of goals against dog muck opposition that disturbs me. Port Vale, York and Northampton and we've scored 2 goals against them. But something that nobody can bury under the carpet is the appalling defending at set pieces yet again, nothing has changed. If Pearson cannot get his defence, his bread and butter to resolve this long standing problem then how is he going to achieve anything else? The pits.
Guest ttfn Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 It's as important to avoid the "friendlies mean nothing" mantra as it is to avoid hitting the panic button.
