whoareyaaa Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Still shit at set pieces I see, this cost us quite a few goals last season. Well that's wood.
ronnup Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 I'm sick to death of Alan Young already. I can't bare it.
Legend_in_blue Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Still shit at set pieces I see, this cost us quite a few goals last season. Don't worry. Pearson will have this sorted out by the beginning of next season. It takes him a couple of seasons to work out what he needs to do to improve.
GingerrrFox Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 As I said in another thread Pearson has built this team for his tried and tested 442, he's made no transfers so I can't how we can change to 352 and expect it to work. He built Hull for 442 and Steve Bruce came in changed it to 352 and they went up. Nige wouldn't change it if he didn't feel it was beneficial.

Stadt Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Yeah like walking into a relegated squad then winning promotion at the first attempt. people that dislike Pearson will literally try anything to make him look bad
alanf0x Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Stringer; how has paul gallagher played in first 30 minutes. Youngy; hasn't been in the game, haven't mentioned him. Shut the door on the way out Gally you useless....
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Think about it guys, Danns Marshell and Gally in midfield !!!!
Fox92 Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 people that dislike Pearson will literally try anything to make him look bad I know. Get bored of it, if I'm honest. We haven't even started the season yet. Heaven knows what will happen if we lose on Saturday; 'we are getting relegated' probably.
Kitchandro Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 As I said in another thread Pearson has built this team for his tried and tested 442, he's made no transfers so I can't how we can change to 352 and expect it to work. I'm sure it will take a while for us to adapt but maybe he feels we aren't utilising the group of players we have well enough in a 4-4-2, which is a view I can understand. I think it would be fair to say that we need to improve on last season and since we can't add players a change in system might be the way to go. I certainly don't want to see Knockaert who can be our most dangerous player on the right wing and Schlupp and RDL are just as effective if not more so going forward than Dyer. Maybe an extra centre back will be a good thing since only one of them is actually good enough. It's just down to how much he believes in the system, if he thinks it's worth persevering with he will until the players get used to it.
GingerrrFox Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Says a lot about how Pearson feels about Taft when he prefers to play a striker out of position instead of him.
potnoodle Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 guy on the radio says he dont get to the kp much then says 'pearson did a good job last season'...its clear he dosent get to many games
Simmo86 Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Says a lot about how Pearson feels about Taft when he prefers to play a striker out of position instead of him. Or Taft has a game tomorrow.....
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 And the fans are letting us down a bit but at least no one is have a go yet. Come on guys give us a song even if it is the left side
GingerrrFox Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Or Taft has a game tomorrow..... He'd learn more playing against Northampton Town surrounded by senior players than playing Coalville with the kids.
Jaspa Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 He'd learn more playing against Northampton Town surrounded by senior players than playing Coalville with the kids. Who knows really? He could start against Middlesbrough for all we can know and tell Sounds like we've come out with a little fire in our bellies, Schlupp on and sounding good
Fox42 Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 He'd learn more playing against Northampton Town surrounded by senior players than playing Coalville with the kids.True. I reckon he isn't in Pearson's LT plans considering we signed Bakayago as well..
Callabinho Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Knockaert has been absolutely awful this pre-season. Literally every touch, pass, cross, and shot has been shocking.
iamafox Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Sounds like we're making Northampton the better team at the minute, unsurprising.
Rincewind Posted 30 July 2013 Posted 30 July 2013 Stringer: What part will Pearson be pleased with? I know the answer to this one. The fans for turning up.
