The Invincibles were the best and my favourite squad ever outside of Leicester. They were so good, and so good to watch, too.

Henry, Ljungberg, Bergkamp, Pires etc going forward would rip any defence to pieces.

I only ask because I was having this discussion with my mate, who is a united fan.

He says the treble side because ultimately they won a European trophy. I said Arsenal invincibles because of the achievement of going unbeaten, but more for the style they did it in. I also think player for player the arsenal side was better.

Chelsea getting the record points is quite some achievement too! 95 points I think it was

Easily the invincibles for me. You could say that Chelsea's title winning side under Mourinho first time around but it's just the way that Wenger built that squad with such a mix of youth, experience and magic. There was no weakness in the side, Lehmann = solid, defence of Lauren, Campbell, Toure, Cole was unbelievably solid. Vieira running things in the middle and they could score goals for fun with Henry, Bergkamp, Wiltord, Ljungberg, Pires... They even had that fight and spark about them - just see the Van Nistelrooy penalty miss!

The Arsenal invisibles drew 12 games and got horsed out of every cup competition, plus Pires cheated to save the record against Pompey.

Just, Arsenal. Every year, especially 03/04. I love watching them.

 

I've seen us play Barcelona, I've seen us against Madrid, but Arsenal are still the best team I've seen. The football they play, defend from the front, counter attacking and freeflowing football at its best. They could counter within a blink of an eye... Pires, Bergkamp, Henry all technically gifted players then the hardwork and fight of Vieira who would run the game.

Favourite is United '99 but I don't think there's an argument that the invincibles were the best. The clue is in the name.

Just watching the Premier League Legends series on Netflix and got to the Henry one.  What a true legend he was, a beautiful player, and that Invincibles season is still my all time favourite none Leicester sporting achievement, can't see anyone else doing it in the PL any time soon.  It is funny too because when you look at the main 11 used it doesn't scream the best team ever but feck my bollox they did it.  X

Same. I used to love watching Arsenal when they were fast and countered within a blink of an eye. Pires, Henry, Bergkamp ... brilliant. Viera is the best PL midfielder of all time imo.

 

To go a full season unbeaten is unbelievable achievement. Even for as good as Manchester City have been this season they couldn't do it.
