FoxesFan123 Posted 3 August 2013 Posted 3 August 2013 If at the end of last season someone said to me our starting 11 next season on the first day would include SSL, Whitbread, Konchesky and Vardy, I would have laughed in their face. Unbelievable.
MPH Posted 3 August 2013 Posted 3 August 2013 If at the end of last season someone said to me our starting 11 next season on the first day would include SSL, Whitbread, Konchesky and Vardy, I would have laughed in their face. Unbelievable. its all about the formation!....
The Horse's Mouth Posted 3 August 2013 Posted 3 August 2013 Knocky having a medical at Monaco apparently.
lestajigs Posted 3 August 2013 Posted 3 August 2013 With this 11, mid table at best, not confident at all
breadandcheese Posted 3 August 2013 Posted 3 August 2013 Can only assume as we're away at a strong team, Nigel's set us up with Drinkwater in the centre and Vardy hassling to keep a tighter shape. Surprised no Knockaert on the bench.
Bilbo Posted 3 August 2013 Posted 3 August 2013 Strange line up. Only time will tell if is the right one or not.
Munshi Posted 3 August 2013 Posted 3 August 2013 If at the end of last season someone said to me our starting 11 next season on the first day would include SSL, Whitbread, Konchesky and Vardy, I would have laughed in their face. Unbelievable. Here we go, okay they might not have had the best season last but atleast give them a few games to show how they are this season. Pearsons not an idiot, he knows his best squad and feels this team will win him this game.

Sharpe's Fox Posted 3 August 2013 Posted 3 August 2013 If we lose this there's going to be a storm on here.
stevelcfc Posted 3 August 2013 Posted 3 August 2013 Oh dear, no Knocky, Vardy ahead of Waggy and Shitbread ahead of Moore as well as no Zoom. So expect to see Konch done for pace and and a 90th min 'boro penalty courtesy of Vardy. Anyway, everyone is going to have to play their part this year regardless.
Monsell1976 Posted 3 August 2013 Posted 3 August 2013 Surely we can put out better than this, very brave of Nigel, if he pulls a result out of the bag good on him, but if he gets us beat he will deserve all the grief he gets. What a negative side, drinkwater in over danns, drinkwater has been shite back end of the season, and not set the world alight preseason, no knockeart?. Is this the confirmed team as this must be a wind up.
NewburyFox Posted 3 August 2013 Posted 3 August 2013 Knocky having a medical at Monaco apparently. That's odd because I've just seen him at the Riverside. Bullshitter. Nigel's head is on a platter for this line up.
Aus Fox Posted 3 August 2013 Posted 3 August 2013 I heard knocky picked up an injury against Monaco, didn't see the game so can't confirm. Could this be why he is out. King attacking midfield behind the front 2 and James running the show. Vardy scored for us at the riverside last season. Bring it on!
Bilbo Posted 3 August 2013 Posted 3 August 2013 That's odd because I've just seen him at the Riverside. Bullshitter. Nigel's head is on a platter for this line up. It isn't if we don't lose.
Salieri Posted 3 August 2013 Posted 3 August 2013 What's everyone whingeing about? Not much surprise with that line up other than the absence of Knocky. It looks like a good set up for a tough away match yet people are writing us off before a ball has been kicked. As for Vardy, it's a new season, clean slate, give the lad a chance.

sylofox Posted 3 August 2013 Posted 3 August 2013 How does Pearson have the nerve to play Dwinkwater and Vardy? I know it's early doors, but Pearson OUT! FFS I did think we would get to half time before this.
Larry_LCFC Posted 3 August 2013 Posted 3 August 2013 Is Pearson actually trying to get the sack? When will he get the message that Vardy and his stupid ****ing hair is not Championship level, nevermind title contender level. Jesus christ, mary and joseph.
WhenYourSmilingLCFC Posted 3 August 2013 Posted 3 August 2013 Vardys had a decent pre season withouy scoring. Aint that what pre seasons all about? Impressing the manager? Too many of our fans seem to think a player cant improve. Willing to give him half a dozen games see what he can do. First game of the season theres 45 more games after this
Mark Posted 3 August 2013 Posted 3 August 2013 Well that's a predictable line up. Can't see how 352 can work unless there's some variation in central midfield our 3 all have a similar style and with Konchesky full back it's a very defensive setup.
