Greatness_Since_1884 Posted 6 August 2013 Posted 6 August 2013 Pearson on Radio Leicester saying he "knows nothing about Konchesky leaving". He also said something interesting which was 'I suppose I'll find out soon'. Does that imply Robinson is behind this not Pearson? Or am I reading too much into this...
FoxyPalace.com Posted 6 August 2013 Posted 6 August 2013 Pearson on Radio Leicester saying he "knows nothing about Konchesky leaving". Yeah bit like the Wood deal hey!
MikeyT Posted 6 August 2013 Posted 6 August 2013 He also said something interesting which was 'I suppose I'll find out soon'. Does that imply Robinson is behind this not Pearson? Or am I reading too much into this... Oooh I must have missed that bit! Didn't hear it. Interesting.
Jimmy Posted 6 August 2013 Posted 6 August 2013 He also said something interesting which was 'I suppose I'll find out soon'. Does that imply Robinson is behind this not Pearson? Or am I reading too much into this... he wouldn't be the 1st to know, if there is a bid Pearson may not know yet due to preparing the match squad Pearson on Radio Leicester saying he "knows nothing about Konchesky leaving". he always says that
Happy Fox Posted 6 August 2013 Posted 6 August 2013 He is gonner there is no chance we would bring in these loanees without a player leaving.
sylofox Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 In The Sun this morning apparently. What is the correct date That would be a first for them.
MGLCFC Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 In The Sun this morning apparently. Nothing different to what The Times said earlier in the week. However, still think this may happen.

Guest Col city fan Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 All sounds like bollox to me. Nah, that's just you talking bollox...
Happy Fox Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 How did we afford to bring in Miquel on a season long loan? This transfer has legs, and if we are rumored to be bringing in Duffy as well on loan then I expect Konchesky/St Ledger to make weight.
sphericalfox Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 I would think that Konch wages would easily cover both MiQuel's & potentially Duffy's wage with money to spare.
Jimmy Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 also Arsenal could well be covering some of Miquel's wages too
Albert Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 also Arsenal could well be covering some of Miquel's wages too 50%
Lambert09 Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Toffee fox tweeted yesterday saying 'outgoing' he later deleted it. Perhaps a deal hit a snag, I'm not sure but I'd guess he was talking about konchesky
sphericalfox Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Nigel has emphatically stated that there will be no incoming and outgoings for LCFC. Since then we've signed Zoumana Bakayogo and also MiQuel. Is Pearson just trying to keep the agents at bay, or our competitors for the players on his shortlist guessing? He's again stated after the signing of MiQuel that this will be the end of transfer dealings. But I think we all can assume that it's not. With little or certainly no public interest in our players on the transfer list, is this effort simply to hedge bets in case they are still here come close of the window?
KFS Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Yeah I agree Spherical, he's probably reiterating it to the agents more than anything. I can see Duffy coming if he agrees and a CDM.

I guess the statements are all time frame-based ("in the moment") and sometimes nothing but a wild guess - giving some sort of apparently definite answer is oftentimes the only way to please the media and fans. I can see a few more players leaving for good and getting replaced by cheaper loanees, at least that would make sense finances-wise.
Bettsj2 Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Toffee fox tweeted yesterday saying 'outgoing' he later deleted it. Perhaps a deal hit a snag, I'm not sure but I'd guess he was talking about konchesky Wasnt Konch. He said it was nobody of significance on loan to a lower league club.
Outfox the Fox Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Wasnt Konch. He said it was nobody of significance on loan to a lower league club. Jacob Blyth to the Cobblers.
