The crowds will be below 5000 next season, even if we stay up.

I see the Wasps attendances have fallen through the floor too, 5,437 against Saracens today.

That's got to be a horrible atmosphere in a bowl that holds over 30,000.

I went past the Ricoh earlier and there seemed to be loads of people and cars around the stadium I thought there'd have been more than 5,437 there but if thats the official attendence obviously not.

Looks like there's a discrepancy in the attendance. BBC Sport went with the 5k but BBC local radio and other sources went with 16k. The game was free with a £3 booking fee on a website. So whether the BBC are giving the paid attendance and the "official" attendance is 16k with free tickets I'm not sure.

The Wasps bubble well and truly bursting if it's the case, and I can't see those 5k who paid will be very happy if they try and inflate the attendances by giving away free tickets every game.

Noticed the bottom 4 all play each other this weekend in League one so if Cov dont get a result away, they are almost certs to drop into the relegation zone.  Horrible 5 games coming up for them as well by league one standards.

They play Orient, Colchester and Notts County in successive games in early April, the three teams around them, and Crawley on the final day.

There was 17,000 there.

There was a buy one get one free ticket offer tonight, which included a deal meaning the 5000 season ticket holders we have can bring someone for FREE.

Attendance,

8566 with 757 Bradford.

Well done SISU!

I'm sure I remember LCFC doing a "bring a mate for free on your season ticket" but you had to ring up at a particular minute during a particular hour and the first words spoken on the phone must be "Ian Holloways bluearewhyarmeh"

Unsure who it was against or what year but 2008 rings a horrible bell.

seems even Coventry are getting in on the "New manager boost" parade.  6 from 6 now for them under Mowbray.  We literally must be the only team left settling for garbage week in week out.

Pressley is suing CCFC over payments following his sacking.

Sisu have 8 days to pay him or we face a winding up order.

I'm amazed you manage to attract over a thousand fans to games, supporting Cov must be one of the worst things ever. As much as we complain at times, I'm not sure it could be as bad as you've got it.

Has there ever been the idea of creating a breakaway club and working your way up through the lower leagues, that would probably be a lot more enjoyable than what you seem to have to endure.

yeah as much as it would probably be shit to abandon your club there's no fvcking way i'd be able to carry on supporting this circus, no offence.

I do agree, I am shocked that we still manage to get crowds over 8000, because it really has been horrific following this club.

The thing is, I could never turn my back on the club.

Fair play to you.

How low do you think crowds will dip if you go down to League 2?

I'd imagine they would average out to about 5k if I'm honest. If we were to have a promotion push they would triple that.

Even if we were to stay up, I reckon they would drop significantly from the 8k currently.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32563206 thought it was impossible to get even more mickey mouse...

I've always asked the question why don't they just put all the fans in one stand? I mean they'd all fit in one stand and surely it'd cut some costs only opening one stand for them? Just seems common sense to me.

Am I right in saying they could still go down tomorrow?

They've got Crawley who are currently in 21st (The last relegation spot) on 50 points, Coventry are 18th on 52.

Crewe (52) and Notts County (50) are the two teams inbetween. If Crewe and Notts County draw (or win) whilst Crawley beat Coventry, Coventry are down are they not?

I'm actually feeling abit sorry for them

Yep - It's 3 from 6 down tomorrow - Cov, Crewe, Notts, Crawley, Leyton Orient & Colchester.
