U21s / Development Squad 2013-14 Put it in here.

Recommended Posts

Our two only creative players in the squad and they are demoted to playing for the development team, very worrying. Whether they deserve to play for the first team or not right now, without them I don't see where consistent levels of goals are going to be sourced from. Knockaert applied himself very well when he came on vs Wycombe and vs Leeds and deserves to be involved. Marshall has gone off the boil in the last 12 months and i'm concerned of the inability from Nigel and the coaching staff to sort it out. If Knockaert goes the same way that'll be 3 youngsters with masses of ability that haven't succeeded at Leicester and why? Because our manager doesn't have the capablities of getting the best out of them, Max Gradel being the other. Criminal how he went from what he was at Leicester to destroying defences at this level within a year.

We can kiss goodbye to promotion without a single source of creativity.

He's right you know. Try arguing with a word of it.

We've seen it happen before and its happening again.

Nigel, the great reducer!

This is not going to end well

When the first team, 21's, 18's and 16's all play on the same day we are stretched quality wise

Apart from the first team though do the results really matter ? Not at all get the youngsters in and let's see who can play on the big stage against the big boys

Panayiouto and Hopper looked good today but the rest were very erratic. Smith in goal was utter dog muck. Thought that Ryan Watson looked useful when he switched to midfield. Cain was disappointing other than for hitting the bar with a free kick and a few clever passes.

That number 9 for Chelsea looks destined for stardom, he's 16 and ripped us apart. Isaiah Brown I think?

Nathan Ake is phenomenal at that level too, would absolutely love him on loan for us.

Ake will be a very very good player.

Would love to have him in on loan.

Pretty sure Brown was with us at a very young age till WBA nicked him and then Chelsea nicked him off them
