The Plantagenet Alliance Vs Leicester re Richard III

Recommended Posts

Nearly up to 29000

It would be pretty amazing if we got above the 31350 or so we need. Up until about 6 weeks ago it was at 6 or 7000 until judge haddon cave made clear he was swayed by yorks and people realised a need to sign!

It's gone up by around 1500 today alone so I'd imagine if high profile Leicester people keep plugging the link we'll be well above that in the next couple of days

I think it's 'only' about 430 plus today but still a good figure. Is anyone able to get Lineker to tweet again ??

Need to get all of Leicester's rich and famous spreading the word... The Hump, Roy Cropper from Corrie, David Icke, Heskey, Mark Selby. Some of these must be on twitter. (maybe leave Icke out on second thoughts).

Apparently the Hump did an interview with Radio Leicester in august and was saying Richard should stay here. There was an interview with Phillipa Langley from the Richard III society as well on the radio yesterday, she said he should be buried here too, she was the one that got this ball rolling in the first place.

Was that a Radio Leicester interview with Phillipa Langley ?? I'd like to hear that as I thought she had adopted a neutral stance given the on-going legal action ?? Perhaps it's because she's in town tomorrow book signing.

Not long left on the e-petition now (closes 12th Oct) so everyone needs to spread the word for one final big push. http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/39708

Yes, I only caught a bit of the interview, over the telephone I think with Tony Wadsworth. Not sure when it was recorded but I think recently. She said the plan all along was to bury him in Leicester and that she hadn't changed her mind.

about 35 mins in. She isn't happy with the design of the tomb, but says she would honour the agreement to bury him in Leicester. Has also never supported York in its attempts to get Richard.
