AKCJ Posted 23 April 2014 Posted 23 April 2014 I think that Liverpool will struggle next season in the Champions League à la Man City.
Guest Col city fan Posted 23 April 2014 Posted 23 April 2014 It's boring for a neutral. Yes, he might be a tactical genius and a wonderful character, but his football was dull to watch. I'm sure that, if we on TV in 2007/08 most weeks people would've turned us off and not bothered to tune in. Don't be so precious that someone doesn't see what you do. That wasn't the point. I agree, Jose's football is mundane. Very effective, but mundane. The sentence before it was the daft bit.
Guest Col city fan Posted 23 April 2014 Posted 23 April 2014 Look up hyperbole in the dictionary, 'Col', he's obviously not being literal. Nor is he being particularly revolutionary in stating an objection to excessively negative football. As for complaining that someone else is posting drivel, good lord, I'd just keep my head down on that issue if I were you, 'Col.' After last night 'Finners', so should you son..
Dan Posted 23 April 2014 Posted 23 April 2014 Quite looking forward to 'Real' v 'Bayern' but also have a dodgy feeling it'll be crap. Pretty confident it'll end a draw.
Unabomber Posted 23 April 2014 Posted 23 April 2014 'Should be a good game tonight, much better than last nights drivel.'
Danizen Posted 23 April 2014 Posted 23 April 2014 Remember when Ribery was too big for Bayern and a move to Man U seemed inevitable? How things change.
MC Prussian Posted 23 April 2014 Posted 23 April 2014 Well, it certainly is a very dominant display by the Bavarians. I have to concur with what our commentator is saying - I've hardly seen a team putting Real Madrid at home under so much pressure from the start. But can they maintain it...?
MC Prussian Posted 23 April 2014 Posted 23 April 2014 Real playing on the counter... in the Santiago Bernabeu! And it works. 1-0
Bobby Hundreds Posted 23 April 2014 Posted 23 April 2014 Pep is taking Bayern backwards. They played a much better style of football last season, this Barça template is dull as fook.
AKCJ Posted 23 April 2014 Posted 23 April 2014 If I could deliver a punch to the nose of any person in the world, it'd be Pepe.
AKCJ Posted 23 April 2014 Posted 23 April 2014 Pep is taking Bayern backwards. How on Earth have you worked that out?
Webbo Posted 23 April 2014 Posted 23 April 2014 Err, cos they were better under Heynckes? Didn't they win the Bundesleague (sp ) about 6 weeks ago?
Unabomber Posted 23 April 2014 Posted 23 April 2014 I thought Pepe was injured then, but turns out he's not.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 23 April 2014 Posted 23 April 2014 Shame that, love seeing Pepe wind all the bell whiffs up.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 23 April 2014 Posted 23 April 2014 Mourinho and Guardiola use different means to the same end: boring, lifeless football.
RowlattsFox Posted 23 April 2014 Posted 23 April 2014 Modric has been fantastic whenever I've seen Real this season.
ScouseFox Posted 23 April 2014 Posted 23 April 2014 Mourinho and Guardiola use different means to the same end: boring, lifeless football. came in this thread to say the exact same thing. after all the stick jose got for playing a boring game at least his team got a draw. the last few games in the cl seem to be showing guardiola has turned bayern from possibly the perfect footballing force to barcelona without messi.
Dan Posted 23 April 2014 Posted 23 April 2014 I am going off Guardiola. No-one is trying to convince me this Bayern side is as good as that one a year back. Didn't they win the Bundesleague (sp ) about 6 weeks ago? Dortmund have also gone backwards.
