ScouseFox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 and there is probably the most annoying thing in football, push in the box = no penalty, exact same offence outside the box = free kick. why howard why.
ScouseFox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Mascherano is being hammered and THAT was a penalty.. should've been, yeah. villa is playing bloody magically here. not a lot of support at all since the opening 20 minutes or so but causing all 4 Barca defenders loads of trouble.
Unabomber Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 That was weird and surprising, Robben never usually cuts in on to his left.
MC Prussian Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Neymar being wasteful once again. Barca can't really find a way past this Atlético defense.
Unabomber Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 The United goal only made bayern better It's been as if Bayern were just toying with them.
morris1234 Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 I thought multi-ball was banned? Seems everytime bayern have a throw they have a ball before anyone clicks
ScouseFox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 wouldn't even know messi was playing here if the tv didn't keep cutting to shots of him looking confused and upset. massive last 10 minutes.
ScouseFox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 yeahhhhhh atletico! see ya later Barca you bunch of plebs. what a performance.
Bert Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Delighted the cheating Wankers have been knocked out. Don't think there's a team I enjoy seeing lose more than Barca.
ScouseFox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 i don't even care who wins it now united and Barca aren't gonna. I love Arjen Robben, so wouldn't mind him winning it again, have loved atletico for years, can't begrudge the best player in the history of the game and his Madrid team finally winning it and if jose won it again to make history i can't say I wouldn't enjoy that either. happy days.
Finnegan Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 As long as Chelsea get smashed, preferably by either Real Madrid ( lol Mourinho) or Guardiola ( lol Mourinho) I don't care who wins now.
Fox in the North Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 I'd love Atletico to win overall and la liga just to smash the real-barca dominance.
bovril Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 As a City fan I'm not sure how you can cheer on Atletico and claim the other team are 'cheating bastards'!
ScouseFox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 As a City fan I'm not sure how you can cheer on Atletico and claim the other team are 'cheating bastards'! because the team they had in 2007 or so was full of absolute heroes. forlan, simao, luis garcia, aguero, reyes, maniche, maxi rodriguez, i could go on and on. i've enjoyed "following" them since then, through the more recent years of falcao, turan, de gea, diego etc. just a boss team.
bovril Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Aye they're a class team and I hope they win the whole thing. But when I see those red and white stripes I just instantly think of one utterly bent referee that night in 1997......
Dan Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 I really am starting to wonder about Guardiola. I actually think in some regards he's taken them backwards. Don't get me wrong they're excellent ball retainers but they're trying almost too hard to replicate Barcelona for me. It's worked in the Bundesliga but I've got a feeling they'll come unstuck in the Semis. I knew Man Utd would take the lead. Could just see it coming. Bayern were creating hardly anything clear cut despite all their possession, Jesus Christ even Moyes sussed it. It was only once they had to go for it they started showing just how good they are. I'm all for retaining the ball but I can see it holding them back next round. Can you imagine them doing anything like what they did to Barcelona? I've been confident Bayern will win it but it's all very open now. 4 very good sides.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 He's really made their style of football the drizzling shits. Although tbf to him, nobody could top the season they had last year. I really fear a Chelsea vs Bayern semi, would be so awful. Really hope Atheltico pull one out of the bag and do a Porto or something.
Grandad. Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Really hope Atheltico pull one out of the bag and do a Porto or something. I wouldn't really refer to it as a Porto when they're currently top of La Liga, ahead of Barcelona and Real.
Stadt Posted 10 April 2014 Posted 10 April 2014 An Atleti double would be absolutely amazing, it shows that with a class manager you don't need £200m to build a team.
