LCFCshotstopper Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 I would go with Kasper Morgan Moore Miquel RDL Konchesky Hammond King Drinkwater Vardy Nugent Subs - Logan, Dyer, Knockaert, wood, whitbread, Bakayogo, Waghorn James missing could be a big blow but will give us the chance to see what Dean Hammond can do. I would personally play him behind Kingy and Drinky so he could offer both support going forward and support going forward. I was thinking about starting Wood but big Nuge could be on a high after having a baby so i'd start with him and Vardy. I'm going for a tight 2-1 win. Nugent and Hammond with ours and a peno for them!

GingerrrFox Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Kasper Moore, Morgan, Miquel, Schlupp King, Hammond, Drinkwater Knockaert Vardy, Nugent Subs: Logan, Whitbread, RDL, Danns, Dyer, Wood, Waghorn. I went for 4 at the back because Wigan play a lone striker in Holt. I dropped RDL to the bench because he's got a bit comfortable recently and his performances seemed to have dropped in quality.
Rocky Dennis Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Kasper RDL Morgan Miquel Konchesky Hammond James King Knockaert Vardy Nugent Subs: Logan Wood Whitbread Drinkwater Dyer Moore Schlupp
lgfualol Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Kasper Moore Morgan Miquel Konch King Hammond Schlupp Knocky Wood Vardy Subs: Dyer, Logan, De Laet, Whitbread, Danns, Nugent, Gallagher A draw. edit. Forgot I wanted Knocky to CAM
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 4-3-3 Kasper RDL Moore Morgan Schlupp Hammond DD King Nugent Wood Vardy
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 This is one that could go either way, so not really sure. I'll go for a draw.
AKCJ Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Kasper RDL Moore Morgan Koncheskey Knockaert Hammond King Dyer Vardy Nugent
Fox92 Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 433 Kasper De Laet -- Moore -- Morgan -- Konchesky Drinkwater -- Hammond -- King Vardy -- Wood -- Nugent 2-1 Leicester
Bettsj2 Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 4-4-2 Kasper RDL Wes Moore Schluppenator Knocky Hammond King Dyer Nugent Vardy 3-2 City.
kingfox Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Schmeichel De Laet - Morgan - Moore - Schlupp King - Hammond - Drinkwater Vardy - Nugent - Dyer Subs - Logan, Miquel, Konchesky, Danns, Knockaert, Wood, Waghorn
Carl the Llama Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 1-3 defeat despite creating enough promising openings to win the game. Players to be booed off at half-time for being level at 1-1, eggs and tomatoes to be thrown at the squad after the final whistle. Fans to come on here after the match to complain that Drinkwater looked at them funny at one point.
Leicesterpool Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Going tough game, Wigan can certainly score a few and i've noticed they like to use there wide men for attack so we've got to expect a few crosses from the wing. Both big Wes and young Moore will have to keep an eye Maloney. Team- Kasper De Laet Moore Morgan Konchesky (but i doubt it, probably will be Schlupp but myself I think this is the game for an experienced head to come in and close down them wingers) Hammond King Drinkwater Knockhaert Schlupp Vardy I know playing one up front alone is not ideal at home but Remember we'll have both Knocky and Schlupp coming into that box probably acting as strikers and with there pace they'll cause some problems. You could argue in some ways we're playing three up front. Bench: Smith (prefer him to Logan), Miquel, Danns, Dyer, Nugent, Wood & Gallagher (why? if either Schlupp or Knocky are having problems running into the box then we need somebody who as the power to cross the ball into the box and i'm afraid Gally is the only we've got) Score: Prediction 2-4 to Wigan, (i think Pearson's negative tactics will just suit Wigan), if we can play Wigan's game by going all out attack then we can win this, as we've seen Wigan struggle against attack minded teams. So thoughts?
tommyh Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Schmeichel De laet Moore Morgan Konchesky Hammond Miquel Knockaert King Dyer Wood 3-0 win! Wood, King and Knockaert scorers!!
Dan Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Kasper Moore Morgan Miquel Konchesky Hammond King Drinkwater Knockaert Vardy Wood The formation is a decent shout but not with them two as full backs. We'd need De Laet & Bakayogo/Schlupp in there simply to provide width and those two wouldn't get forward nearly enough.
Dan Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Kasper RDL Moore Morgan Koncheskey Knockaert Hammond King Dyer Vardy Nugent I'd not argue against that.
Kitchandro Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 0-0 Draw. I think we should play 3-2-3-2 Schmeichel Moore Morgan Miquel De Laet Schlupp King James Knockaert Vardy Wood
Danno Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Moore Schlupp King Hammond Drinkwater Knockaert Nugent Vardy
hackneyfox Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Kasper RDL Moore Morgan Koncheskey Knockaert Hammond King Dyer Vardy Nugent If you go with that and it doesn't work NFP will have no Plan B as Knocky & Dyer have started.
LCFC_Wade96 Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Team will probably be different on the day. Formation: 4-3-1-2 Kasper De Laet Morgan Moore Bakayogo (If Fit If not Konch) King (Late runs work rate) Hammond (Sitting) Drinkwater (Keeping the ball) Knockaert (Creating space gaps feeding the forwards) Vardy (Running in behind) Nugent Subs: Logan, Schlupp, Miqual, Wood (Might be Jet lagged after long flight), Danns, Dyer, Waghorn (if not on loan) Score: If we can keep Maloney under control and keep it on the ground think we will win 2-1, if we go long they will keep the ball very well and punish us.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 4-4-fvckin' 2 Schmeichel De Laet Moore Morgan Konchesky Knockaert Drinkwater King Dyer Wood Vardy Supersub Nugent if things go shite. Wood is a poor impact player. Bring on big Dean if we are leading in the 60th minute. 2-2 Dyer and Wood for us, Holt brace for them.
TrentFox Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Am I the only one that can see Gally getting some minutes off the bench in this one ????
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Is it me ? I just cannt get excited about playing Wigan. I know it's at home and a 3pm kick off and I will be back in time for sat evening. I know it's an important fixture with Wigan being a big tip to go back up, I just cannt get excited about playing Wigan. Am I the only one that can see Gally getting some minutes off the bench in this one ???? And posts like this don't help
Leicesterpool Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 This is just a thought but would it be possible to play either Vardy or Nugent in a attacking midfield role where he sits right behind the two forwards?
conLAD logan Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 kasper de laet morgan moore bakayogo knockaert hammond king dyer vardy nugent not going to bother naming the bench but i'd like to see hopper on there or/and some other u21 player as i think they deserve a chance, also i think it's very likely we'll play 442 as we are at home.
