Myth.

After not replying in the other thread I've just seen this. Going to need you to provide some evidence for 'athletes don't get tired'.

So hope Burton can beat Bournemouth, would be amazing to see a very good friend play against my team and the team he grew up supporting in Liverpool.

Athletes become more used to regular workouts the more they do them, that's how it works. If you're working hard enough your fitness improves until the things you found really hard previously are now much more manageable.

Players are much more likely to struggle with fitness early in the season than they are later in it when there is a fixture pile up. That is why the focus in pre-season is on fitness.

It would actually be better for players if they played 2 matches a week throughout the season, their bodies would get used to it and they would become fitter. If they can't handle 2 games in a week at this point in the season, I would suggest managers give them a heavy workout in every midweek training session when they don't have a match.

It is also scientifically proven that a fit human body (let's say athlete's specifically for the sake of argument, in case I've misquoted), barring injury, should take no longer than 48 hours to recover from any workout.

If players were busting a gut every single day then tiredness would come into play.

Have you got anything other than what your mashing on into the keyboard to back any of that up? Are you seriously suggesting fatigue is a myth?

Why do itv and BT sport choose games like Chelsea v Stoke & Man Utd v Swansea to be on tv?

We have them sort of teams on every week.

Sheffield United v Norwich or Fulham and Chelsea v Stoke should have no place on TV on FA Cup weekend.

Yeah it'd be great if he could get on the scoresheet :)

I would be more than happy to see him score v Liverpool, as long as Liverpool win..

Oxford are charging £19 for the replay next Tuesday. We only charged them £10, outrageous!

Should of not been crap and got the job done first time then.

Apparently Man City had to cancel a friendly in the UAE to play Blackburn in their replay. Surely they could leave one side to play here and take the other to go to Abu Dhabi and win both games?

Well not on this showing.
