Adster Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 Makes you sick when all these fair weather fans come out the woodwork. Where were they when we were shit?! No doubt phoning stringer after listening to his shit commentary with some armchair expert opinion which would make Peter Beagries bullshit sound intelligent! Wow. You're a ****ing moron aren't you.

foxer Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 People are so bloody tetchy about whether people regard them as 'proper' fans or not. It's actually hilarious! Only you yourself know the reasons why this may be your 1st, 4th or whatever game of the season. You dont need to justify it to anyone. I can't believe however that the additional 5-10k fans on Saturday have all suddenly found some spare money/came home for the weekend/tossed the kids off to the in laws or whatever. Just giving alternative views rather than being tetchy mate

Don't think your talking about the people who are going to this game because they are in Leicester, can only afford this game etc etc...
Ric Flair Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 Even though they claim over 28,000 has been sold you watch, come Saturday the attendance will only be about 28,000 and there'll be a fair amount of activity over the next few days. They project the likely figures, not the current figure from experience.

The Year Of The Fox Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 Just giving alternative views rather than being tetchy mate It wasn't aimed at one particular poster, just everyone in general. It's happening in other threads too. My issue lies with those who call for the managers head be it on here or the moan in yet the closest theyve got to Leicester is eating a packet of Walkers Salt and Vinegar.

ST holders are automatically included whether they are there or not!

It's obvious that there will be more of us at a forest game, if people get to choose a game to go to and it's between forest, Bournemouth and Huddersfield it's obvious which one they will pick. I can afford one game a month, this month I chose forest because it's the bigger game!
Monk Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 Would be very good if we could top 30k for this fixture, I can't imagine many season ticket holders will want to miss out - and there's such a buzz around the club right now.

Johnny Cash Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 I managed to come to every home game for three years whilst I went to Uni in Stoke, living off a student loan Around £3K, whilst also paying for a car, food, bills etc. It can be done, it's if you want to or not so stop spouting your nonsense.

absolutelegend Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 The fact is, it costs a lot of money nowadays, and often a lot of time to go and watch the footy. It's obvious that people are going to pick and choose the games that they want to go to, and prioritise those that are most important / exciting for them. What's up for debate? If it's the "...but I'm a better fan than you" arguement, then that's quite frankly childish. Who cares?
Tommy G Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 My mate who is a Cov fan has just picked up a ticket from DMU for a fiver. He's a copper Hope that makes everyone feel better!

So a police officer is attending the game on a students ticket, not sure that fits in with the integrity they should display.

Happy Fox Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 Any f**ker can get student tickets all you have to do is go to the student union and just buy them, that is why the club have f**ked up yet again because it isn't exclusively for DMU students oh well.

So some of the problems are created by the club themselves I agree but my point is that a police officer should not be doing this even if it is easy and open to anyone. There are standards that apply that I expect all police officers to maintain.

I agree but also some F****t fans could potentially buy tickets as well and that causes problems etc, I think the whole situation is a mess if i am being honest if they wanted to keep on board students just do their student season ticket that was very handy and a good incentive imo.

That's not true. I've had a few mates who have tried to get them from there as Leicester Uni students but haven't been allowed to have them. Apparently they usually let anyone with a DMU card to buy up to 4 but because so many other students have come in to try and get them, you can only buy one per DMU card. Not a clue how a police officer would get one mind you as they were being strict.
