I'm interested to know why they don't feel they need to communicate with the fans in this way. Because it's a privately owned business and there's no need for board members to speak to the media if they don't want to...

If you were given someone something for next to nothing and got moaned at for whatever reason, what would you say? Would you be happy paying full whack with sun in your eyes whereas at the other end kids are getting cheaper tickets with the same view, and no sun in their eyes? There are no concession prices in the kop and under 10's free in the family stand. Family stand adults pay £40 less for what could be exactly the same view as someone else at the other end of ground.

If the club hierarchy do not want to "risk" a live phone in, they should allow a pre-recorded interview, Ian Stringer could ask for questions to be submitted by email/text on the show broadcast just prior to the recording being made, then the recorded interview could be featured on the following Monday Night Phone In and it then still allows callers to comment on what has been said (obviously the club then loses it's "right of reply" by choosing not to appear live). Previous Chief Execs (Tim Davies / Lee Hoos) have seen this as a worthwhile activity

I'm saying your insistence on criticising and framing everything the Club does in a negative light is starting to make you sound ridiculous. At the start of previous post, you say they haven't come out against it, then performed the necessary mental gymnastics to conclude that they are definitely against it. So what evidence do you actually have that the Club are against it? (I'm afraid the fact that they haven't done anything proactive towards it thus far does not stand up as evidence.) Just because Susan Whelan isn't stood outside the House of Commons screaming and waving placards every day, doesn't mean they are against it. They probably just think there isn't much point whilst nothing can be done about it. I understand the earlier points about how political activism works, but is it really that a big a deal if the Club have higher priorities? Depends on what the higher priorities are. If its achieving promotion- fantastic. If it's to, 'continue creating a fun, safe and friendly family matchday experience' they can get to ****.

We think that the marketing/entertainment planning/ idea generation etc at the club is rank. For a club this size, it's really not on. There is so much more that could be done to provide greater match day entertainment. We are top of the table, yet the first half on Saturday was like we were playing a friendly game. The place was SILENT. Prices need reducing (eg some of mi mates came down from Scotland for the weekend and paid £39 each!), seats need filling and the price/selection of food and drink is pretty wrong.

May not seem it now, but maybe that's the best thing that could happen to the English game. It happened in Germany and now they, in my opinion, have probably the best league in the world.

Very quick summary of what was said about the main topics: Man City 6 tickets per STH - as was said in sub-committee meeting, the club wanted to do it as a reward for STH, as they cannot offer cheap tickets due to the rules of the competition. Only 78% of STH bought tickets to the match, and on average they bought 1.8 tickets (incl. their ST). So, as others have said, although the option was there to buy 6 tickets, not many people even took up the option to buy any additional tickets. Next year the rules of the League Cup are likely to change so that away fans will only have to have 10% of stadium capacity, meaning that no STHs will have to relocate. Half STs - Usual spin that they remain cheaper on a match-by-match basis. There's 2 more matches included in this year than there was last year. Full STHs tend to give a discount of 40% on a match-by-match basis, half-STs range from 10-25%. Sales are ahead of expectation and the club expect to sell more than last season. (No figures were given, unsurprisingly). Website - Well aware of the problems, including the fact that you cannot buy a membership online. Have a meeting in the coming week with the provider, who are due to give us a new retail website (of the same design as Fulham, if anyone is interested), which should improve performance and appearance. If they do not deliver with this, the Club are open to changing providers. FFP - Susan said we are fully expecting to meet FFP. Away ticketing - Change in sales dates is to reduce the number of people in each priority category to give regular away travellers more opportunity to buy tickets. Priority criteria will increase as season goes on to take into account the fact that priority points are also awarded for this season. With regards to agreeing mutual away ticket prices with other clubs, we haven't attempted to do so yet but it something that the Club will look in to. Burnley may be a possibility given that it is a Fans Fixture for us. Winter Wonderland - There will be no full Winter Wonderland this year due to the early kick off for the Burnley game. Instead the club will be donating the money that they will usually spend to 5 charities. They are open to suggestions for charities to donate to, and are looking for local causes if possible.

Are they aware they went on sale online for Man City 12 hours before the official time? We would still be relocated for a semi-final this season. No changes to FA Cup rules, so it will still be a 15% allocation for that for the foreseeable future. They do know about the online ticket priority, although it wasn't discussed in this particular meeting and neither was the Man City selling time.

One day sadly we will all here a big crash and it will be the whole football league. 75p goes into £90 120 times. so for a "cheap" £20, you'd be taking home £2400 at the same ratio. Or to put it another way, If you're taking home 3-400 a week (nearer average) then a ticket should cost £2.50 to £3.40
