StanSP Posted 4 December 2013 Posted 4 December 2013 Let's do away with Tuesday and forget it ever happened. Barnsley beat Brighton 2-1 last night with what looked like 2 'easy' goals for the away side. I'm sure we can replicate that and despite last night, I'm confident we can come away with a win. Fancy Moore to come back in the side instead of Miquel. Other than that, stick with the rest (and yes that does mean persisting with Nugent).
lgfualol Posted 4 December 2013 Posted 4 December 2013 Kasper Moore Wes Miquel Konch James Drinkwater Knocky Dyer Vardy Wood subs: Logan, Wasyl, King, Schlupp, Hammond, Nugent, GTF
MC Prussian Posted 4 December 2013 Posted 4 December 2013 I don't know about Miquel, but I'd replace Wasilewski with Moore and start either Hammond or Taylor-Fletcher in midfield.
kingcarr21 Posted 4 December 2013 Posted 4 December 2013 i would also like to see moore back in the side at RB and have was partner wes in the middle. Also perhaps giving Wood a run out and maybe nugent a rest.
Monsell1976 Posted 4 December 2013 Posted 4 December 2013 Doesn't matter who plays, I fancy us to beat anyone on our day, just as long as we turn up and get a performance. Going for a scrappy 1-1 draw

Guest Col city fan Posted 4 December 2013 Posted 4 December 2013 Kasper RDL/Moore Moore/Wasyl Morgan Konch Knockaert James Drinkwater Dyer Vardy Wood You'd go for a 4-4-2 away from home again? I wouldn't. Im hoping Pearson plays 5 across the middle with Vardy up top. I'd go: Kasper Moore Wasyl Wes Schlupp Hammond Knocky James Drinky Lloyd Vardy Control the middle, keep it on the floor and feed Dyer, Knocky and Vardy in. Is the way I hope Nige goes.
Happy Fox Posted 4 December 2013 Posted 4 December 2013 Kasper De Laet/Moore Morgan Wasyl/Morgan Koncheskey Knockaert King Drinkwater Dyer Vardy Nugent Subs: Wood, Hammond, Logan, Schlupp, GTF, Miguel and De Laet/ Moore
Dan Posted 4 December 2013 Posted 4 December 2013 I think it's the first time this season we'll go more than a game without a win. Think it'll be 1-1 like last year with us equalising fairly late. That would be revenge to an extent - they've done us at the death for the last three times on the spin at their place(s).

I would of taken a point had we beaten the Wendies, but we need to win this one now, with Burnley and QPR coming up.
Crinklyfox Posted 4 December 2013 Posted 4 December 2013 Brighton have a different manager this season, they like to play football and until Tuesday had been on a decent run. If we up our game from Tuesday we can compete, but I don't think it will be easy. I'd be happy with a confidence-restoring draw to take into the Burnley and QPR matches.

GingerrrFox Posted 4 December 2013 Posted 4 December 2013 If Knockaert's injured I'd like to see Adam Dawson have a pop on the right wing from the development squad. He's been on fire recently and as has been previously shown with Pearson he isn't afraid of letting the younger lads have an opportunity. What's the other option? GTF on the wing? Vardy out wide? RDL back and play a 3-5-2? Let the young lad have a crack! Kasper Was Wes Miquel Konchesky Dawson Drinkwater James Dyer Vardy Wood
kingfox Posted 4 December 2013 Posted 4 December 2013 OH! I do like to be beside the Seaside I do like to join in with Gay Pride 2-1 loss or a 2-1 win. Couple of changes for me, Miquel can drop down to the bench, and Wood can come in for Nugent.

There are very few games I'd leave happy with a point in this league. Brighton last at home to Barnsley yesterday - we shouldn't be content with a point here. Definitely think we're due a win in Brighton.

I've never seen the lad play but heard very good things, and from reading his Twitter he seems someone genuinely interested in improving himself as a footballer.

JonnyBoy Posted 4 December 2013 Posted 4 December 2013 having looked at the table i'm not as annoyed as last night. All teams in top 6 form is all over the place. We are still top and there are 5 points between Burnley and 4th. Plus Burnley have not won in 5 ! so all in all our biggest threat is reading who are 7 points behind. Not all that bad considering... Need a win here though considering Barnsley turned them over last night!
