gazfox9 Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Just wondering what was the point in signing, and moreso playing him. There are better players in local football who'd play for practically nothing compared to him. Looks overweight, legs aint in sync with his brain, can't jump etc.... As soon as he was bought on today, the chances of winning the game passed by.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 And he's had it away with the balti pies !!!!
ealingfox Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Still think he's a useful addition. A bit concerned that he doesn't appear to have slimmed down at all since joining, as with a better physique he could be very dangerous. Great football brain, good touch and some clever passes. Hasn't scored yet, but if he chips in with 5 goals before the end of the season I'd say he's been good value for a place in the squad.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 He looked like he was 10 seconds behind the game today
Leicester Lass Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 If only Vardy had a first touch that was half as good as GTF's.
Beliall Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 I disagree. I think GTF has showed some intellegent play and believe if played up front with nuge would supply plenty of assists. yes hes fat and slow bu he has the skill to hold the ball up and play.
kingfox Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 GTF does something good, I find myself saying well done, but then he follows it up by doing something poor which usually leads to me laughing. Giving him a new contract would be a bizarre decision, really don't see the point in him really.
Foxy harry Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 I disagree. I think GTF has showed some intellegent play and believe if played up front with nuge would supply plenty of assists. yes hes fat and slow bu he has the skill to hold the ball up and play.exactly what I was going to say
Dickov22 Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 I think he's a decent player to bring on. Fantastic first touch and feet. Gives us a different option
theessexfox Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Wily, experienced man with a genius first touch and decent hold up play. Obviously lacks the pace and goalscoring to be a regular starter, but a very useful man to have coming on.
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 He's average... nice touch, lays it off ok. We're Leicester City. We're aiming for promotion. We can do better than GTF. I absolutely believe this.
Happy Fox Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 He's average... nice touch, lays it off ok. We're Leicester City. We're aiming for promotion. We can do better than GTF. I absolutely believe this. Very true he is no better than Waghorn if we want someone to hold the ball up. We need a forward to score goals he doesn't!
theessexfox Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 We could also use a forward to hold up player and win flick ons when running down the game... he does...
Karl_LCFC Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Looks a tidy player when ball is played at his feet, shame we hoofed it all game.
Walshy5 Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Still cant understand how nigel thinks this fat bastard is a better option than waghorn.
shade Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 didn't rate him at all, messed up loads of passes.
Dickov22 Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Ha ha people saying Waghorn can hold the ball up well We may as well give up!
chavdonk Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 there are a lot worse players out there who would want a lot more money to play for us. i think he's a good squad player
Devonfox1884 Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 He is a good squad player, which is exactly what we bought him in to be, and i just don't get why people are slating him, he hasn't been 'poor' in any games he has featured in thus far.
Stadt Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 He was alright, he actually has a bit if a presence as opposed to the thoughtless Nugent.
Devonfox1884 Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 He was alright, he actually has a bit if a presence as opposed to the thoughtless Nugent. And he actually wants to work hard for the team. (and to earn the money for his pies.)
