Lineker's Left Foot Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 Bet even Liam would laugh about that one
goose2010 Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 Sky sources: Fulham make £2m bid for Leicester defender Liam Moore #SSN - surely he wouldnt go there?!
Happy Fox Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 Fulham have launched a £2million bid for Leicester defender Liam Moore, Sky sources understand. The 20-year-old centre-back is a product of Leicester's academy and has emerged as one of the best young players outside the Premier League over the past 12 months. Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham, Everton and Aston Villa are amongst the clubs reported to have scouted the England Under-21 defender in recent months. Now Fulham are trying to prise him away from Leicester and have made a £2million offer. Moore has 18 months left on his current deal at the King Power Stadium.
jh95 Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 Absolute insult. He wouldn't want to leave anyway!
jimmer Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 PANIC STATIONS But seriously, I would be gutted if Liam left....He's one of our own
Happy Fox Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 Every player has their price Liam Moore is worth at a minimum £5m to us.
FrankieADZ Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 jokers..they can kindly sod off,...who'd want to play for Fulham anyway....they cant even beat us
FreddieFox Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 I really hope we don't cash in on Liam. I don't think the club would right now but my concern is although £2m is a pittance, it might seem more attractive in this era of financial fair play. Especially if it sparks a bidding war with other clubs and becomes £3.5m!
Buzzell Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 £2m is an absolute insult. And with them struggling to stay in the Premiership this season, surely Moore will want to finish the campaign with us before thinking of moving.
Bettsj2 Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 Absolute insult. He wouldn't want to leave anyway! Dont be so sure....
ollielcfc Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 Saw this and at first went into panic mode. Then thinking logically, Fulham are a struggling side on the slide whereas we are on the rise. Liam's a local lad with a love for our club, and has consistently said he wants to make it to the promised land with his team. The bid shows our players are doing something right, however £2m is derisory and not even worth considering. Bottom line is, I don't think Liam will be going anywhere anytime soon.
lgfualol Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 Promotion push with boyhood team or relegation battle with Fulham... hmmm.
Bayfox Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 All over talksport now as well. 2 million are they having a ****ing laugh. Plus he may be back in the championship come may!! Lets see this season out please and take it from there.
Fox92 Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 Worth more than that. Wouldn't take anything less than £5million. He's solid and only 20, so he has years to improve. I can't see why he'd want to swap this for a PL relegation battle anyway, if a club like Everton bid I could understand.
Danno Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 Who'd want to play for a nothing club like Fulham anyway?
Happy Fox Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 Rob Dorsett â€@Dorselator 1m Sky Sources: #lcfc reject a £2m bid from Fulham for defender Liam Moore. Fulham have been told he is not for sale.
FrankieADZ Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 is the Jack Hobbs deal to Forest done yet?.....someone tell Fulham to go for him
Fox92 Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 Rob Dorsett â€@Dorselator 1m Sky Sources: #lcfc reject a £2m bid from Fulham for defender Liam Moore. Fulham have been told he is not for sale. Good. Bloody £2million. Bet he was laughing.
davieG Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 They're are bound to up the offer though as they're are desperate.
damolcfc Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 liam... dont be a Richard stearman or a joe mattock some team's are worth leaving for. Fulham? they have too much to do to stay up in terms of rebuilding a team... they will spend loads in summer to avoid this again and hooe u dont get left behind.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 Cannot wait till we are in the Prem so we can take Fulham's best young players off them when they are in the championship next season.
