Not sure if it's been mentioned but he is going out on a month long loan.. Not a big loss.

Thoughts?

I still can't work out why NP brought him here in the first place.

panic buy as i said at the time but got shot down for.

we had to trim the wage budget so couldnt make any worthwhile signings and to ease growing tension about us not strengthening the squad we signed someone who probably had potential to play at a higher level but not necessarily for us.

...we needed a left back

How many times did we need him?

As back up? Are you suggesting that we shouldn't have signed one and just banked that Konchesky would stay injury free, suspension free and not get tired?

It's turned out to be a bit of a dud signing and maybe something you could class as a little mistake but it's barely worth mentioning.

Shrug. Clearly not otherwise he wouldn't have bought him. No way I'm believing he bought a random player because we were expected to make signings.

Not entirely random but pointless (and cheap) which suggest we were never serious about having him in the first team squad which is why he was a panic buy or at most a "decoy" signing to appease fans.
