Langston Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 I personally sprinted to Nugent to scream in his face asking the score Cheers for doing that mate, the boy needed a rocket up his arse and you definitely provided it. Having a great season is our Nuge.
kingfox Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Wish people would shut about this, and stop treating Watford as massive enemies. They beat us fair and square in the play-offs, these things happen from time to time, we were just the unfortunate one's who were on the receiving end of it. We've come away from it all in better shape, so we should be thankful. Yes Watford are mid table, but what's the point in laughing about it? They could easily have another campaign like last season, and be fighting for promotion next season or the season after. If they want to tread up stuff, and post silly comments then that's their choice, we don't need to answer back and go all childish, and go post comments on their forum, or call them idiots(or worse) over twitter. If some of their fans have confidence for Saturday then that's their choice, we have exactly the same type of fans on here, as well as the more open minded one's. Watford are just one of 24 teams plying their trade in the Championship, time to move on from last season's crap, we got our point across when we beat them 3-0 earlier in the season, just let's see what Saturday brings, Watford could well beat us, we could easily beat them.

RookeryHorn Posted 4 February 2014 Author Posted 4 February 2014 Unfortunately for you guys the second batch of players you have managed to acquire is nowhere near as good and without Vydra you look incredibly average. Sigh.. Our 'second batch' is the same as the first batch, except for a few additions and with no Vydra Also, Vydra was amazing for us, but people tend to forget that before his goal vs you in the semi final, he hadn't scored for months.
Steven Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 The first page of posts in this tells you all you need to know really http://www.wfcforums.com/showthread.php?50468-Leicester-City-FC-vs-Watford-FC-08-02-2014 http://www.wfcforums.com/showthread.php?50468-Leicester-City-FC-vs-Watford-FC-08-02-2014&p=926858&viewfull=1#post926858
kingfox Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Kingfox the voice of reason! Well how childish do some people wanna get. Quoting posts from a forum and posting them on twitter, purely to get a reaction and get fellow Leicester fans onside. Absolutely pathetic, like a bunch of kids in a play ground. "But you said I can have Gerrard match attax, for Paulinho" "Well I've changed my mind, how about Iago Aspas?"

You do have a soft spot for Watford though as your mum supports them.So your comments are null and void! However I hate the Luton Bummers more.

That's a fair post. Still love it when you claim other people are being 'childish' and 'silly' though.
Jakemoore Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 I don't mind the way the Watford fans celebrated, we would've have done the same. I don't like the fact that a lot of Watford fans feel like you're a bigger club and that we should not have been on the same pitch. That's what got my back up. I even felt like Zola was arrogant about the whole thing. The play offs were won before the first leg.
kingfox Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 You do have a soft spot for Watford though as your mum supports them.So your comments are null and void! However I hate the Luton Bummers more. What does that matter? We lost, I was gutted for the rest of the day, but got over the loss quick enough. Just move on same applies to the Watford fans as well. I have nothing against any side in the Championship, if Derby and Forest are doing well, good for them. That's a fair post. Still love it when you claim other people are being 'childish' and 'silly' though. On this occasion people are being both, and I can point that out if I want to.
RookeryHorn Posted 4 February 2014 Author Posted 4 February 2014 I even felt like Zola was arrogant about the whole thing. The play offs were won before the first leg. This surprises me, I thought (apart from the celebrations) he was very humble about it, I know he's very good friends with Pearson.
Mark_w Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 This surprises me, I thought (apart from the celebrations) he was very humble about it, I know he's very good friends with Pearson. It was his interview before the second leg that I didn't like. He seemed very arrogant. However, I've tried to block out as much of that day as possible so I could be wrong.
cambridgefox Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 To be honest, the way we lost has probably helped us get where we are this season.Cheers Watford.oh and the penalties, balls over the touch line, balls not over the goal line, our diving, our spending of millions and our general luck.
FoxInTheBox89 Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 I havent got a problem I would of done the same but ild proberbly should of stripped naked aswell
Grewks Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Cardiff also beat us in a play-off semi final, they won it even later than yourselves (penalties), invaded the pitch and goaded our fans. But i cannot remember seeing a single cardiff fan on here 'boasting' a week later, let alone nearly 12 months later creating a thread like this. In a nutshell, that is why some have a problem with watford, and as i said earlier, Deeney's goal had just as little significance as nuge's in the end. So why can't your fans just move on?
Sharpe's Fox Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 They were better over the two legs anyway and deserved to go through, not that it eventually mattered. Hopefully after this season, with the way things look like they are going (I won't say the P word), it'll be the end of it all.
Dan Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Just the complete smugness of a lot of your fans towards the end of last season and a lot of bellends on the pitch more bothered about the fact we'd lost than the fact Watford had won. Nowadays I'm largely apathetic although I think having you brought to our attention has made me realise that Watford have a fair few morons follow them, one of them things.

This aswell. The mongoloids from Cardiff were the ones kicking our crying players on the floor (I remember one dealing Wellens a heavy blow), but the large majority of them were gracious in victory. Even my Cardiff supporting Spanish teacher who, for all the banter he gave me, was actually quite respectful of how much it hurt.Contrast that to what we got on here from the likes of superhorns etc, it's just so small time.
TJB-fox Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Can't blame you for celebrating, every dog has its day. What I will say (and this is aimed at the ****ing morons at Watford) look ehere we are and look where you are. We're top. We have a brilliant manager. We have young English talent. We have a better stadium, better attendances. We are doing relatively well money-wise. So, if it meant conceding that Troy Deeney goal to be where we are now, so be it.
Bert Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 Respect to Rookery for responding to most points in what seems a very honest manner. Our fans aren't holier than thou when it comes to celebrating etc. Plenty of us still go on about Knockaert v Forest. People will say this is because it's our biggest rivals, but Rookery has admitted this is the best thing that happened to them in recent history. I tend to try and not go on about things too long after a match just in case things come back and bite you on the ass, it happens so many times in football. The most satisfying thing to come out of all this is the way that we've responded. We should be proud of the lads and backroom stuff for getting ourselves in the position we currently find ourselves in.

Although, I do find it absurd that Watford fans have the audacity to complain about our players celebrating our goals in November? How dare we?
Grewks Posted 4 February 2014 Posted 4 February 2014 'leicester are tinpot. but we always lose to the tinpot teams.........like yeovil.' 'Still just remember that you may beat us every time in the future and no one will remember it. But last May has gone down in the history of football and you cant erase it, people all over the world remember it.' 'Fark me - it says everything about this league if leicester are seen as the best in it - they are absolutely average - no better. I struggle to say who is better but Jeez why aren't we pi$$ing this division. The semi final loss has clearly motivated / galvanised them but honestly if they are 10 points clear then this league is ****' 'Leicester are tinpot, a comfortable 4-0 win for the 'Orns with Doyley getting in among the goals.' say no more!
RookeryHorn Posted 4 February 2014 Author Posted 4 February 2014 Howcome you are so terrible in comparison then? You look much worse. I guess you lost the Chelsea lad too. Well, Zola said in pre-season he wanted to develop a game plan that meant we took the game to opponents rather than basing it only on counter attacking, that didn't really work at all, and when it didn't work he had no plan B. We tried to get Chalobah back from Chelsea, but over the summer he signed a new deal at Chelsea and was on £35K a week, Chelsea wanted us to pay it, we refused so Forest stepped in and paid it instead, more fool them. No 18 year old in a second division is worth that. Then of course our player of the year Abdi, signed permanently, started the season brilliantly and now has some phantom injury that no one can work out so he never looks like recovering from it. He's been out since August really. Of all the "Udinese loans" we had last season, apart from the ones who never made more than a couple of appearances (Beleck, Fanchone, Neuton) - Vydra was the only one not to be retained, because he wanted a shot at the Premiership and his agent is a gobshite. True. Although, I do find it absurd that Watford fans have the audacity to complain about our players celebrating our goals in November? How dare we? That's ridiculous, as I've said a lot, if you can't take it, don't give it. That's football say no more! I'd take what you read on the forums now with a pinch of salt, most of them know that Leicester fans are coming on to read what they're saying so are just posting drivel for the fun of it.
RookeryHorn Posted 4 February 2014 Author Posted 4 February 2014 Also - another thing I remembered which obviously contributes to the way some of our fans have acted: When we came up to the KP for the first leg and lost 1-0, some of your fans after the game as we were leaving were acting like they'd already got to Wembley, a fair few cretins (every club has them, some more than others) shouting some ridiculous abuse.
