foxfanazer Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 I will buzz my tits off we win this one. If we do I really do think we'll go up
RedHux Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 Is this live at all? Most of our home games are streamed on al-jazeera so expect a stream somewhere. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
Guybino Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 for me, this is one of the 3 last really tough games left. Although Im going to stay optimistic and go with the oh-so-surprising leicester 1-2 win, I won't be suprised if we lose. we have to lose at some point.
kingcarr21 Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 i fancy us to snatch the win. Im sure pearson will get the players pumped for the game and with 10 days rest i think we will win the game late on as forest would of grown tired with there congested fixtures. I can see a red card at some point in the game but i think vardy will be the star of the show. Im going 2-1 leicester with a last minute penalty won by vardy and scored by nugent. Vardy with the 1st goal aswel A draw would be a great result for us but a win and i will really start to believe in promotion. COYB
The Doctor Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 You dont get it? We dont want our biggest rivals to do the double over us! I hope the players dont have the attitude "oh we're still 5 points clear if we lose this anyway" if we're 1-0 down with 5 minutes to play People are talking it as a must win game though - it's not. This fixture last season was a must win game, but not now - we've got the lead, we've not got to do the chasing and not able to afford a single slip-up. I'd hate for forest to beat us, but it's not a must win game. 2-1 city for me, Vardy and Dyer.
gerrytaggart Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 Ive heard that they have the best squad in the league...they have the best individual players in league....and they are the biggest club in the league. so there is surely only one possible outcome right??
Happy Fox Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 The two inform teams in the division we have won our last 5 away games F****t have won their last 5 home games something has got to give, It will be a tight game but I can see us edging it come on City!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 Ive heard that they have the best squad in the league...they have the best individual players in league....and they are the biggest club in the league. so there is surely only one possible outcome right??You been talking to Pinocchio again
lcfc1994 Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 Really ain't looking forward to this now, I'm dead nervous.
HitchinFox Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 Another 2-2. Big Was to score one of them.
Dan Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 I still maintain these are nothing special at all. If it wasn't the fact it's Forest I'd be fancying three points comfortably. They've just got this horrible knack of getting ridiculously lucky against Leicester. See their last two trips here & the draw there in 11/12
lcfc1994 Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 Thing is, I was thinking that if there is any team in the league that would want to end our unbeaten run, it would be forest. But then forest probably feel the same about us.
Merging Cultures Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 It is likely to be a hard fought draw, but if we win it then I just can't see us messing up this season. Even with a draw we can't complain. We'll still be top!
Harry - LCFC Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 You dont get it? We dont want our biggest rivals to do the double over us! I hope the players dont have the attitude "oh we're still 5 points clear if we lose this anyway" if we're 1-0 down with 5 minutes to play The conversation was about whether we had to win the game or not. I mean literally needing to win the game. That's the bit Mark and I don't get.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 Would take a draw leading up to a nice 3pts off Ipswich
pSinatra Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 Davies is a spoiler. He would rather keep his unbeaten record intact than go out for a win against the most in form team in the league. I think his tactics won't be much different to what they were at the KP.......play for a draw & possibly steal a win. It's a tactic he's used on lesser teams than us. They should be more scared of us than we are of them. I'll be happy with a draw, but think we will win. 2-1 Leicester
AKCJ Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 Possibly the toughest match of the season. Without a doubt the toughest. Harder than QPR away IMO. Both sides have the ability to demolish the other. Really am amazed that SKY have neglected this fixture. Would be a very good spectacle and an ideal advert for this league. Really looking forward to it. Hopefully we nick it.
dayday Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 I still maintain these are nothing special at all. If it wasn't the fact it's Forest I'd be fancying three points comfortably. They've just got this horrible knack of getting ridiculously lucky against Leicester. See their last two trips here & the draw there in 11/12 Totally agree, they are nothing special.....in the 3-2 win last season at there place,we were the much better side, and again at ours earlier in the season were we should have been out of sight but for poor finishing. They were set up that day to counter attack, this time at there place i very much doubt Davies will try them tactics again.
lcfc1994 Posted 13 February 2014 Posted 13 February 2014 Would love there to be a stream for this Yeah there will be, forest have every home game on Al Jazeera.
lestajigs Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Yeah there will be, forest have every home game on Al Jazeera. Are you 100% sure on this
lancyclaret Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 I really want Leicester to win this game to dent Forest's hopes of automatic. If Forest win, there might be added pressure on your lot if the other sides like QPR , Derby and Burnley win their next matches. If that happened it would read: 1 Leicester 31 games 67 points 2 Burnley....31 games 62 points 3 QPR.........30 games 59 points 4 Derby........31 games 58 points 5 Forest........31 games 57 points Leicester would still be hot favourites to finish top but a defeat would give the chasing 4 a glimmer of hope which looked gone before you drew against Watford. People keep saying if Ings/Vokes were injured, Burnley would fade, but if Forest lose Andy Reid for any length of time, their automatic hopes would be very small. Hope Vardy gets you another pen or two.
Scoobyrob Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Would be disappointed if we lose to these and also if we don't win the league. However if we were offered second place now with Burnley top, Derby and forest in the playoff final and qpr staying down, I think I'd have to accept. I still think we will win by 15 points but just want us up.
RedHux Posted 14 February 2014 Posted 14 February 2014 Are you 100% sure on this It's true, although as it's a champions league night and a rearranged fixture that may complicate things. I wouldn't be at all surprised if streams did appear though.
