Mark_from_USA Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 At this point, the bookies have Leicester, Forest, and Derby all in the top 5 for promotion. So, are we rooting for a Midlands sweep of the promotion places?
One Legged Beaver Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Good lord no, I would never wish promotion on Forest or Derby! Ideally I'd want Burnley and one of Reading, Ipswich or Brighton to come up with us if we were to get to the promised land.
FuriousFox46 Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 If we were to go up, I wouldn't want either of them to steal our thunder. They can come up once we're established
jammie82uk Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 I personally don't care who goes up as long as we are one of them that does
Guy Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 If we were to go up, I wouldn't want either of them to steal our thunder. They can come up once we're established ...and only on the premise that they go straight back down after one season too!
Harry - LCFC Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Four great fixtures to have in the PL, would thoroughly look forward to each of them. Wouldn't mind them joining us eventually but I'd love a few seasons as the irrefutable top dog in the East Midlands.
Zapp Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Maybe derby for the novelty. Can't for the life of me wonder why you'd want to be alongside that love/hate relationship rimming each other in the prem though.

lavrentis Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Good local derby in the premier league? Hell yeah!
foxfanazer Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Derby yes, forest hell no!!! 6 points from Derby In the prem would be useful but Forest woild steal the limelight from us. Plus I'd like to see if forest get in trouble with FFP
Finnegan Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 **** em, we're all on our own. We're premier league, we're all on our own. Honestly, local games are okay but we don't have the most exciting derbies and if you can't get fired up for United, Liverpool, Chelsea, etc then what's the point of promotion? I'd get much more satisfaction out of being leagues above them again. Having them enjoy the benefits of the prem just so we get to play them twice a year and listen to how passionately they don't care? Yawn. I'm actually getting genuinely bored of Forest.
Buce Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 God, no. I wish only bad things for them, Forest in particular.
LCCFox96 Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Potentially it's possible. Not that I'd want it. The media coverage in that for the close season and first month of 14/5 would be horrendous. We'd loose our individual identity and be lumped together as 3 clubs. Realistically I can see one team coming up with us, most likely forest.
ealingfox Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 In an ideal world we finish 1st, Ipswich or Brighton finish 6th and Burnley finish 2nd. Then Ipswich/Brighton beat QPR in controversial circumstances and Derby beat Forest in the semis. Then Ipswich/Brighton beat Derby on penalties in the final with Will Hughes missing the clincher.
sk3since03 Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Don't give a rats ass just aslong as we finish the job at hand

Beliall Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 derby deserve another crack at beating their record, and i wouldnt mind beating forest into 17th
foxfanazer Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Without even taking into account the fact it's Forest, I despise Billy 'poisoned dwarf' Davies. So NO!

Fox92 Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 I don't really care who is alongside us if we go up.
AndWhat? Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 I'd personally love it if we all went up. As long as we finished above them and beat them both home and away!
Finnegan Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 I don't really care who is alongside us if we go up. Translation: Oh please oh please oh please let Forest get promoted, they're such a big club with a great history and great city and omg nosh nosh gobble gobble slurp slurp suckle gobble nosh.
lavrentis Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 If both of them went up with us lets face it we'd be guaranteed at least 18th
yorkie1999 Posted 12 February 2014 Posted 12 February 2014 Derby and forest in the playoff final. One set of fans crying. win win.
