weller54 Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 Andy Peake v Watford... And Muzzy Izzet v Spurs!!!
6ups 6downs 2 cups Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 Andy Peake v Liverpool in 1980 not to shabby either! Remember the Watford game 4-1, scored 2 crackers that day on match of the day as well!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 Ormondroyd v Arsenal Bergkamp. End. Steve Walsh end
Guest kristianity77 Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 Heskey volley from Claridge volleyed backheel. From an opposing team, Andy Lonergans goal ten odd years ago wasn't bad
6ups 6downs 2 cups Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 Almost forgot Gary Coatsworth stunning volley from 25 yards vs Luton, much derided but scored a couple of gems plus put in the 'cross' for walshy to head in at wembley!
cc_star Posted 17 February 2014 Posted 17 February 2014 Too many to mention Off the top of my head from matches I was at Gary Coatsworth Phil Gee Vs Derby... A nod for best brace & hit post for what could have been the best hat-trick of all time Quite a few Joachim goals

Soup Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 Andy Peake v Watford... And Muzzy Izzet v Spurs!!! Was right behind that Peake goal,as a twelve year old at the time it don't get much better than that.
Guest Col city fan Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 Andy Peake v Liverpool Amazing goal...
Mickey O'Neil Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 Joachim against Millwall when we beat them 4-0 I wonder if that's the one I can remember? Joachim steamed down the east stand wing towards the family stand. Hit it quite far out with the outside of his foot, bent it in like a motherfvcker. Great goal. Tony James vs Oxford. In off his bollocks to stop us being relegated to the third division.
Kitchandro Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 Tragically I think I only saw 6 goals at Filbo. 3 against Firentina in a pre-season friendly and a 3-0 win against Bradford. And I can't remember any of them
Beliall Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 iwan roberts 3rd goal in the closing mins against derby, after being 2-0 down at half time. that and agnew's 40 yrd screamer
crisp monster Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 Rooster Russell v Tranmere in injury time many years ago - not sure it was the best goal but I thought the roof was going to come off the kop end at that moment - deafening. That and Muzzy's v spurs - went with some spurs mates and to this day have said everytime they tried to get a song going, they got drowned out by the city fans. A bit like the KP ;-)

Probably, he scored a few goals like that from a ball out of defence or from Thompson in midfield, using his ridiculous pace to beat the opposition & firing it past the keeper, often from 20+Yards
bovril Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 Collymore's first against Sunderland was pretty special.
OzFox Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 Was right behind that Peake goal,as a twelve year old at the time it don't get much better than that. Same here. Seem to remember the Watford keeper (Steve Sherwood?) barely moved
Bayfox Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 Heskey volley from Claridge volleyed backheel. From an opposing team, Andy Lonergans goal ten odd years ago wasn't bad That was at the walkers.
Simonb Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 collymores first v sunderland was decent and zagorakis v united ?
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 18 February 2014 Posted 18 February 2014 Plenty, but the one I will always remember was a superb own goal, by Peter Rodrigues from outside the right hand side of the penalty area. The over hit back pass sailed into the top left hand corner of Peter Shilton's net. A real cracker, though "Shilts" didn't appreciate it.
