Aus Fox Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Just thought I'd start ticking them off: Yeovil Barnsley Millwall
adam1 Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Great idea. How long until Burnley and QPR can be added?
sylofox Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Barnsley still can catch us but only tie on 71pts an above on goal difference.
Beliall Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 whats the lowest we could finish mathematically?
johnny the fox Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 My mate paddy wants to know what's the odds on us going down?
sylofox Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 whats the lowest we could finish mathematically? About tenth I would say even that would take a hell of a lot of strange results. My mate paddy wants to know what's the odds on us going down? None as not possible.
XLM Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 One more win and it would seem as though a play off spot is pretty much guaranteed.
Strokes Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 One more win and it would seem as though a play off spot is pretty much guaranteed. We have more points than last season so.....
AmyLGK Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Good topic! Looking forward to seeing that list getting longer and longer..
sylofox Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 We have more points than last season so..... But a lot more teams are set to break that total this season.
Harry - LCFC Posted 23 February 2014 Posted 23 February 2014 Barnsley with 15 games left can pick up 45 more points and get to 71. Correct to say that Millwall and Barnsley can't though.
Foxes Blue Blood Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Just thought I'd start ticking them off: Yeovil Barnsley Millwall Doncaster
DanTheMan Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 As well as keeping this thread up to date, you can always use something like this page: http://stats.football365.co.uk/dom/ENG/D1/runin.html The two columns of interest are obviously Highest Possible Finish, and Lowest Possible Finish.
Motty Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Just thought I'd start ticking them off:YeovilBarnsleyMillwall Doncaster as mentioned Blackpool can now only match our 74 points so hopefully another challenger soon to fall to the wayside It looks as if Nige has a premier challenger in the headbutt league
Aus Fox Posted 8 March 2014 Author Posted 8 March 2014 Add Birmingham City and Blackpool to the list now and 6 teams can't catch us: Yeovil Barnsley Millwall Doncaster Blackpool Birmingham
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Add Birmingham City and Blackpool to the list now and 6 teams can't catch us: Yeovil Barnsley Millwall Doncaster Blackpool Birmingham Brill looking forward to that list getting longer
Cincinnati Fox Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Brill looking forward to that list getting longer Forest cus they are shite
DanTheMan Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Only burnley can catch us,and they won't :-) If we're being pedantic - technically the following teams can all still finish 1st: Burnley Queens Park Rangers Derby County Wigan Athletic Nottingham Forest Reading Brighton & Hove Albion Blackburn Rovers Ipswich Town Watford Leeds United AFC Bournemouth Middlesbrough Huddersfield Town Sheffield Wednesday Bolton Wanderers Charlton Athletic As they can all finish on more points than we have at the moment - however I admit that the likelihood of most of them doing it is pretty much nil
Rincewind Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Some will play each other so they can't all get maximum.
Jimothy Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 If we're being pedantic - technically the following teams can all still finish 1st: Burnley Queens Park Rangers Derby County Wigan Athletic Nottingham Forest Reading Brighton & Hove Albion Blackburn Rovers Ipswich Town Watford Leeds United AFC Bournemouth Middlesbrough Huddersfield Town Sheffield Wednesday Bolton Wanderers Charlton Athletic As they can all finish on more points than we have at the moment - however I admit that the likelihood of most of them doing it is pretty much nil Certainly no chance of the bottom team in that list finishing on more points than we have now. I doubt they'll finish on more points than they have right now.
steveherbe Posted 8 March 2014 Posted 8 March 2014 Certainly no chance of the bottom team in that list finishing on more points than we have now. I doubt they'll finish on more points than they have right now. I think every team will finish on more points than they have now! But I thknk I know what you meant
