The Drinkwater goal

Recommended Posts

After watching it quite a few times,

What a class finish, Looks simple, But it really really isnt.... Almost a half volley, Side footed with the ball coming across your body, Well done son, Could easily have pinged into the kop

We stroked the ball around with ease today. Not only for the goal but Drinky's goal really did top it off. There were numerous passing moves which could have ended up with goals and I'm glad 1 did.

Must have been about 30 passes. I remember saying in the build up if this ends up in the net it'll be some goal and it did.

Sounds like the style of play and pace that will be needed in the the premier league.  We will be going up with a team that will mostly translate to higher standard.  But we will need to buy well to make sure we stay up.  But it will be good for the likes of Moore, Morgan, Nugent and Vardy to prove to the football world they are PL standard.

We were talking about Drinkwater's quality in the pub pre-match.

How far behind Cleverley is he really? If we and Drinkwater have a solid season in the Prem next year, I can see him knocking on the door of the England squad.

I genuinely believe he's better than Cleverley..

Perhaps it's because he's playing for Man Utd, it's higher profile, but Cleverley really is dogshit.

He was good for us and I have no doubts he'd still be good for us, but he's not a Man Utd player and he shouldn't be anywhere near the England squad.

So FLS showed a few passes before the goal.

Hope Foxes Player highlights have the whole lot. Same goes for Knockaert's chance.

I was dreading the start of the second half as I sat down with my piping hot steak and kidney pie. When drinkwater scored, much to my distress, I despatched a cloud of flaky pastry into at least 6 people's hair in the row in front and also some 1000 degree hot steak filling on a small boy next to me which appeared to blister as the game went on. I whispered in his ears if he told his dad I'd have his fvcking legs broken, he never made a sound, not even when the 3rd goal went in, crap fan. As I left the concourse I saw loads of people with dan druff that was actually pie, they make a right mess. Who likes burgers?

This is the first post of yours that's genuinely made me lol

Just watch fls. They show about 2 passes before the save and dd knocking in the rebound.

But show extended highlights of a game that was live on sky. Who decides these things.

This is how I see it as well. Cleverly I would have him in our squad everday of the week.Same as Drinkwater but neither

are Internstionals, just honest excellent premiership players.....ok Drinkwater still as to make his mark, but he will.

Was a decent goal, but even though Drinkwater finished well, Schlupp deserves great credit, great bursting run down the left and a very good cross, just one of many brilliant things he did yesterday.

P.S TBJS you on serious drugs mate  lol
