MooseBreath Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 You are having a laugh mate ain't you? Eating a pancake with runny ice-cream seeping out, tasting a random mixture of lukewarm runny ice cream with an occasional cold blobby chunks outweighing the taste of the pancake itself. Get out of the kitchen! Wut. Ice cream goes on top buddy. Nice hot/cold combo, like cold cream over a warm chocolate fudge cake. You just need to serve it and eat it quickish before it all melts

sdb Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Hmmm, which cheese? Do you cook the spinich into it or on top? Well, cheddar is special but I would never restrict the options. Spinach separately and then you can mix as and when desired (Partridge fry-up style).
One Legged Beaver Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 I always enjoy a good pancake with chicken in a creamy sauce, as odd as it sounds it is actually delicious

StanSP Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 YES Or golden syrup. Fvck Tuesday I need some now. You are allowed them before Tuesday . It's not against the law .
AoWW Posted 2 March 2014 Author Posted 2 March 2014 Can you get microwave pancakes? Seems you can make them in a microwave. Can't say I've ever tried it though. http://www.studentbeans.com/student-money/a/make-your-own-pancakes-in-the-microwave3730.html
maynefox Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 I thought we already had it ... Seriously, I can never remember one pancake day being as late in March?!
potter3 Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Can you get microwave pancakes? Yep. Tesco does them, I assume every other supermarket does too.
Captain... Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 I want to know how Captain Pancake Face likes his? All over my face, nom nom nom. Edit: My old photo of a pancake on my face is on my other computer I will have to use this lovely couple instead.
kingcarr21 Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 Nice warm pancake with mars bars icecream in the centre. Wrap it round and gently press down to create taste sensation
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 Way to go. Or a mix - bacon and maple syrup is yum, those Canadians know where it's at. Sweet pancakes are just so boring and last year. Best pancake I've ever had was at Pancake House, Centre Parcs - think it's called the All-America or something Pancake cooked with bacon, sausage meat, pepperoni and cheddar in the batter, then topped with a puddle of maple syrup. The kind of thing you eat, and then get upset by the fact that you'll never eat anything as tasty probably for the rest of your life.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 Can't beat honey and cinnamon. You all lose. I'll try some of that - I love cinnamon and I've got a lovely pot of Rowse Organic set honey in the cupboard
Kitchandro Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 You are allowed them before Tuesday . It's not against the law . You tell my mum that. If she knows I'm making pancakes she'll start poking my belly etc.

Nutella and banana, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
goose2010 Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 pancake factory in Vegas - asked for one with strawberry cheese cake, fully expecting it to be like the contents of a muller strawberry cheese cake corner thing but no the yanks upped their game and add a full slice of new york style cheescake in the middle smoothed in whipped cream and strawberry sauce was epic but a bit OTT i must admit.
MC Prussian Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 I went to IHOP once and it was absolutely delicious. I was glad that I hadn't eaten anything beforehand.
Kitchandro Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 I went to IHOP once and it was absolutely delicious. I was glad that I hadn't eaten anything beforehand. Fvck me I love IHOP. I love having my traditional english style stuff too but american pancakes can be superb. Chocolate chip pancakes. They always understate it in the titles. The pancake was basically made of chocolate. Side of bacon. 10 rashers.
Smudge Posted 3 March 2014 Posted 3 March 2014 I like Vermont maple syrup on mine but after seeing this sign I'm not so sure
kingcarr21 Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Can't beat honey and cinnamon. You all lose. Anything with Cinammon deserves going straight in the bin RANK
MC Prussian Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Anything with Cinammon deserves going straight in the bin RANK Then why would you buy it in the first place? I love it - fresh cinnamon ice cream is a sheer delight.
Wycombe Fox Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Not in the mood for pancakes. To be honest, I feel a bit flat.
