Trav Le Bleu Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 This is probably just me, but it doesn't feel "right". It's a nice thing and all that, but it feels "dirty" and probably how it feels to be a Man U fan. Though not this season, obviously! Just wondering if anyone else was enjoying the feeling, but at the same time, not used to the weirdness of the situation. Well I guess normal service will be resumed next season (and before everyone has a go at me, I'm not saying we're going to be relegated, just that we're unlikely to boss the Premiership.) :scarf:
Fox92 Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 I don't "expect a win", as such, because I understand certain games will be more difficult than others imagine. I'd say I have more confidence going into games now.
coolhandfox Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 Reminds me off the L1 title winning season any lost or draw came as a shock!
Stadt Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 I expect to win every game now, it's not going to happen but there's nothing stopping us winning at Wigan or Burnley other than ourselves.
Dan Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 It's the manner we're winning in that makes it so convincing. No-one will go to the game this weekend and genuinely expect us to not win. We've been consistently turning in convincing victories in such a ruthless style that nothing other than total superstition could make you think we'll blow it. We will beat Blackpool comfortably. I am confident of it.
Bayfox Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 I don't expect to win. But I don't go to the games worrying about defeat at the minute. We have won the last 3 3-0 without getting into 3rd gear. The gulf in class has just been clear. But still expect reading, burnley, qpr to give us a harder time than we have had recently. Before the end of this season. That said I still can't see past us for top spot. And if I was in the play-offs I'd fear wigan big time. So don't look good for the likes of fword, derby qpr etc.
Callabinho Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 Our biggest asset is the ability to score first, teams will prepare to try and stop that from happening, and at the moment that's an impossible task! As soon as we score they fall apart. I agree with Alan young.
Happy Fox Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 We have that strength in character to grind out results and get wins in any game we play regardless of the opposition.
Grewks Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 I wouldn't say it is about 'expecting' to win, more 'believing' we can.

Beliall Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 i dont expect us to win every game, but when i hear vardy is through on goal on the radio.. i expect him to score. and thats nice
The Year Of The Fox Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 I never expect us to win. I'm enjoying this less than most seasons in terms of the pressure being on us to perform/win/maintain the gap/get promotion.
Bert Posted 13 March 2014 Posted 13 March 2014 The lads go into every game aiming to win. Why shouldn't we?
Donut Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 I dont necessarily expect us to win, but i expect us to score, and that puts you a big step (obviously) towards winning. Off the top of my head, Leeds at home is the only game i recall us drawing a blank. I may be wrong.

Don't forget we lost against Donny by a stupid goal, they then parked the bus. It's still possible that through illness or injury or just bad luck, we don't win anymore games! Reel it in chaps! There's no reason to be pessimistic, but let's not count our chickens eh!
Soar Fox Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 I dont necessarily expect us to win, but i expect us to score, and that puts you a big step (obviously) towards winning. Off the top of my head, Leeds at home is the only game i recall us drawing a blank. I may be wrong. We didn't score at home against Forest. Not a bad record though, only twice in 17 home games have we failed to score.

Jon25747 Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 The lads go into every game aiming to win. Why shouldn't we? Big difference between aiming to and expecting to
